If only they had some sort of time "machine" to make traveling through time easier, as opposed to using the gates.

God damn it. It's called the Wings of Time for a reason. Well, I think/hope they'll remember next ep. Not entirely sure about this party line-up. They can only ever have three dual techs now and it'll take a while for Magus to get decent magic. But they've got this far so I think they can make it work for them.

...Wow. They spend ages trying to get the 2poch back, then promptly forget it exists.

EDIT: The worst part about it is that they keep on blaming the game for making them do stuff they don't have to do, when the game is actually really good about doing things that other games of the time would have made frustrating (e.g. giving you fast ways around things with the flying time machine, levelling up characters who aren't in the party, and so on.) There's actually a lot of smart ahead-of-its-time design in the game but they're missing it because they don't spend a second to think about what they've got.

Stuff like forgetting the 2poch is what makes an Endurance Run entertaining.  It would be boring if they knew the exact right move to make in each situation.  It humanizes the show.

A one hour endurance run episode? SCORE!

Too bad they don't have a flying time machine so they wouldn't have to go through the shitty old dungeons to get around.

I agree to an extent, but then you think about all the giantbombers getting agitated, and the entertainment commences.

I think Ryan even had the right idea, but didn't act on it because he couldn't see the open, dark doorway on their always-too-dark display and immediately gave up on getting back through that time gate?

I am very happy about the length of the episode either way.

First ER for me, but I'm beginning to think these are not meant to see how long Ryan & Patrick will last into the game but how long I can last before fast-forwarding through the re-treading to get to the point where they remember the FLYING DELOREAN they just fought to get back!

I have lost all respect for Patrick and Ryan as video game players... It's really not fun watching this.
