There was a point when I almost bought a game that I already owned. Although unlike Brad I hadn't actually played it yet.

And, you know, there was that sapling next to the guy orchestrating the gassing of Greenvale!

Ryan lets out a thunderous applause after Thomas's head gets impaled by a giant meat hook, nice.

That was awesome.

Another awesome endurance episode.
 
And I stand by my point that Willie is the most amazing dog ever. And am in agreement with Ryan that he only keeps Kaysen around because K can drive.

Brad and Ryan's reaction to Thomas' death was not nearly as hilarious as Vinny and Jeff's but still, that never gets old.

Brad actually seemed somewhat saddened by Thomas' crazy death, while Jeff and Vinny thought it was kinda hilarious.

Every goddamn day someone bitches about Brad's playing. It's really getting annoying.

I'd describe this game as "It gets better." Brad & Ryan applauding the facehook was epic, and I wouldn't be surprised if their opinion by the end of this is "parts of it sucked, but it was worth it".

I just looked up Spy Fiction and there was a character named Forrest Kaysen in that game, too. Quoting from the Wikipedia page:

Edit: Ryan's reaction to the Thomas Face Hook was great. Instead of talking too much about how awesome it was, he just breaks out in applause.

I have "Life Is Beautiful" as a ring tone now. That and the lovely piano melody in this are great.

Of course it is.  Tank controls at that camera angle just isn't intuitive at all, the auto-aim sets you 20 miles above the boss (though it's probably on purpose since Emily doesn't have a fatigue meter), and the super high contrast window behind him makes it near impossible to aim properly.  It's not a very difficult fight but Brad probably took my complaints and verbalized them.  I don't think anyone should be complaining about anyone else complaining about DP unless they actually played the game. I like how in the spy fiction review you can see the main character doing a shrug that is gesture for gesture the same as the one so frequently employed in deadly premonition.

...while talking, while being recorded on mic to upload for a huge, critical audience, etc.  I respond with a single syllable answer to my wife while playing with no one else around and I'm DRT (Dead Right There).    I have no idea how all these guys play while talking and even more, being damn funny simultaneously.   BTW, that's even though I play drums and have pretty good limb independence.  No can do. "
