Rewatching this. I completely forgot how awesome Kanji was. Why didn't they max out his social link?

Also Rise is way less annoying before she gets kidnapped. After it she's all airy-headed celebrity bimbo, but when she's working the tofu shop she's perfectly pleasant.

If by "pleasant" you mean "horribly dull and uninteresting". Having to listen to miss emo through the whole game would have been so much worse.

Kanji reminds me of all the punk rock cats I hung out with in high school, at least the unpredictable and violent side of him. I totally knew a dude who had a bullet necklace, and a guy with a skull/atom bomb tattoo on his upper arm that he'd always show off by wearing sleeveless t-shirts, even during winter. Good times
