Quick tip:

You can get an Arcana Chance even if you pick a blank card from the shuffle. Use this to aim for an upright Moon card (probably the best card - gives more EXP).

So even if you don't want the Persona on offer in the Shuffle Time, aim for a blank card and you might still get something out of it.

Edit: Figures I'd finally remember to post this tip quarter way through the video because otherwise I keep forgetting, only for you guys to figure it out in this episode anyway...

The bonus boss for Void Quest has a nice sword for Charlie, when you guys get there.

I was totally into the whole coversation about video cards on this ER.

I love when they go back to an area because it is like another podcast. They talk about anything that's on their minds.

Pretty ok ep, a little boring perhaps but even the boring ones are worth my time...

hot dogs + ketchup + relish = the best.

You guys shouldn't be wasting your time in the lower dungeons unless you're farming for certain items or going to fight the optional boss. You'll save a lot of time if you want to grind for whatever reason by fighting in the latest dungeon.

I'm still without a gaming PC since i did something stupid and fucked it all up.  It started when i downloaded this application from nvidia to overclock my video card apparently i pushed it beyond it's limits.

That was a year ago, since i've only been playing games on my 360.

You mentioned not wanting to do Margaret's Requests but I really do have to insist on doing them. You won't regret having achieved Rank 10 with her by end game. Don't want to spoil anything besides that but trust me when I say you'll both flip.

Oh, and a more practical reason to do so (if I remember correctly) you'll also get discounts on bringing out Persona from the Compendium.

I really hope they wait till episode 100 to go on the school trip, otherwise episode 100 will be pretty uneventful.

This was almost like a shorter, very distracted podcast. They spend more time talking about PC building and Amra 2 and other things then paying attention to the game. Not that they really needed to while they just grind. It was actually pretty cool to hear Vinny and Jeff talk about other stuff

i like the to hear you guys talking about games you play like that. i mean what games you actually like to play or not even if its for a review. you should do that more often ! i find it veery interesting

Well, the rule of thumb is: For sheer performance and more bang for the buck get ATI, for best image quality with maximum settings pick nVidia. Nothing beats clamp & 16xHQ AF, if you can run that smoothly. "

Honestly, you have no idea what you are talking about.

I have had that conversation about upgrading my PC so many times over the past few months. At some point I realised that I had no idea what PC hardware (especially graphics cards) was good and what was bad anymore.

They can definetly cheat the next few episodes and save the school trip for Episode 100.  Here's how:

96. Fight the Momentary Child
97. Run the Void Quest
98. Fight the Escapist Soldier
99. Progress to right before the trip
100. Experience school trip
101. ???
102. Profit!

Sure, you'll get a few 15-minute episodes, but the one-two punch of Episode 50 and 100 would be something.

There is a way to add a bit of filler to make sure there are no 15-minute episodes but it won't be popular. Fusion (aka Vinny yelling at the TV as he can't get that one particular skill he wants). "

There is nothing wrong with the application of ketchup to a hot dog. In fact, a hot dog with ketchup, mayonnaise and hot peppers is one of god's great gifts to men.

The school trip will be the same whether it happens in the 100th episode or not. Stalling just to adhere to some arbitrary number would be heading down a bad (and stupid) road.

After giving this some thought - the contradiction is not apparent, i see it as more of an inner struggle. At some point reasonable Jeff seems to appreciate the fact that it's different games for different folks, at another time comical Jeff* can't understand how anyone could possibly like a game, that he doesn't value. Formally there is no contradiction, if we assume that Jeff inludes himself into the "crowd of people who seem totally unwilling to accept that not every game is for every person."The second role (comical Jeff) is that of a judgmental ignoramus, most prominently caricatured by the host of the Colbert Report. I know I'm late to the party, but in the preview pic I thought Yukiko was carrying a hoagie into battle.  I enjoyed thinking it was a hoagie until I realized it was just a weird perspective on her fan.

I like how they spent the entire episode not talking about the game at all.

This episode is like a mini-Bombcast. I was playing WoW while the audio in this was playing. 

I just kind of realized that I've played like 50 hours of this game, watched this far in the endurance run, and never even thought about the lyrics in any song in this game. I don't even know what they are saying. 
 
It could be in Japanese even, I've never really listened to it.
