After hearing what he said in this podcast and seeing what happened during the Mario Party stream, it's clear Dan has a troubling case of Mario Party madness.

I don't know, my interest in Destiny is pretty much zero. I have a feeling they aren't going to make their money back on this one.

As a person who makes not a lot of money and finds a way to buy all consoles it blows my mind that any of these guys (who are paid to cover video games) hold out for as long as they do. I would want my body of knowledge and experience to be as wide and varied as possible.

G.I. Joe sounds like it could be alright. Never watched it when I was a kid because it always looked exceptionally stupid and jingoistic.

I find that it's a very personal thing. Some people need the newest shit as soon as possible, while others don't have that urge. I bought a PS4 for the Destiny beta because I know I'm gonna play Destiny. I usually wait for the second generation of a console before buying it because the first gen is absolute shit more often than not, but the PS4 seems solid enough to risk it.

I feel like the Bombcast has only gotten funnier and funnier since Dan's been around. Holy shit, this guy is a comedy goldmine. The clash of midwest and western culture is palpable.

Bart Vs the Space Mutants. Fuck. The first level was utter nonsense, but it wasn't impossible. The second level, that goddamn mall, that was impossible.

Pretty sure Bart Vs. The World was also on NES, and you got to skateboard on the Great Wall of China.

I think there was a SNES game called Bart's Nightmare? That might have been the one I liked the most? Or maybe it was virtual Bart.

They were all terrible though.

Next time there's an event big enough to get CBSi to spend some travel budget, they will meet Vinny and Patrick and this will only get better.

Also sad to say, Rust got canned, so California is doomed to become Mad Max.

Khalil from Champaign is right about Epcot and those shitty Saturn booths. I think it was called "Innoventions" and it was about the inventions of the future, only every game system there was already kinda super old at the time.

I remember playing a lot of Virtua Fighter and The Little Mermaid for hours because I didn't know any better. Also Sonic games, but even then I wasn't a huge fan. It's just that Sega properties were new to me as a Nintendo kid.
