Nice review...still unsure about the game. I guess I have played too much of COD that the movement in Halo is so weird for me. Still want to try it tho.

Halo: Reach is one of those games which really makes me wish I had a Xbox 360. Unfortunately, as I am currently between jobs, I cannot get an Xbox 360 (and a Live subscription) at the moment. 'Tis a bummer.

Hmmm...I don't think this video is in HD when I'm viewing it via the mobile website. :(

I had a shitty checkpoint situation today, as well. A Covenant ship is about to crash into me for massive damage (+ death) as the checkpoint saved. I couldn't escape it. 
 
Other than that, I'm enjoying the multiplayer quite a bit (love, love looooove the DMR) and the campaign has thus far been very entertaining.

Can't wait until the weekend, when I can really hunker down and play this!

It seems like Bungie has a really hard time ending games.  In Halo, you had the stupid library, that just flipped itself to become a "new level" (or whatever it was, It's been like 8 years since I've played that game.)
 
Then in halo 3, the ending just kind of kept going and going.  Then in ODST, it just kept going and going.  And in Reach again, Jeff says it keeps plodding along.  I hope in whatever franchise they create next they bring someone in who knows how to do a proper denouement.

Why wouldn't they have match making for all the modes in the previous games? Seriously..

FYI In Halo 2 when I got trapped in an instant death checkpoint cycle the game recognized it after not touching the controller and dying 3 or so times in a row and rolled me back to an earlier checkpoint. 
 
That said, Halo lost me this gen and this is way too textbook for me to care.

Green screen looking a bit rough in HD, game looks pretty nice. Would be playing, but my school's mail room can't move a box from one building on campus to mailroom within their six hour open...ness.

jeff is a good reviewer, he dictates the issues way better than other video reviewers ive seen
