Well, I'm glad he mentioned that streaming video bill. This was the first time I'd ever heard of it.
 
The cleverly named " Bill S.978" makes it a felony to stream copyrighted material more than ten times (if you're unauthorized to do so, however one is expected to get authorization). Ten strikes? That's a bit weird. It's almost as if they know it will be not only hard to enforce but hard to even know if you're doing something wrong without going through a back catalog and counting instances. This isn't even making money off of the content, which is a bit shadier yet still done in bits (sampling, etc). 
 
I've been wondering for a while now when stuff like this was going to get enough attention; I still consider gameplay videos to be performances that don't necessarily copy what they're based on, but of course within a game there are materials (like songs) which are played which are a lot less defensible.
 
I'm pretty sure a lot of game developers love the idea that their games live on in videos; I wonder if the only people who really don't like it are those who JUST put out a new game, especially one with strong narrative content, and don't want people to just watch the game and not play it (read: buy it). I understand that, but all streamed content? 
 
Maybe they're trying to cut down on internet bandwidth, ha-ha, but this has the chance to be seriously messed up.

Aww man I was hoping for a good TNT cause that TF2 shit is soo boring to watch.I'm sure it's cool for people who have the game and get into a game with the GB crew but having that for TNT is just blehhh, but forget that Deathly Hallows Part two yeeeeeah!
