I Love Mondays - 07/30/2012

I love justttt about everything GiantBomb does, but am not a fan of these I Love Mondays. I think the format originally changed to this for logistical reasons upon leaving the old offices, but please bring back the informative, short-and-sweet I Love Mondays from the past. <3

Wow of course ryan couldnt handle la mulana, btu then again most of the giant bomb crew seems to have soured on spelunky so i dont expect them to even grasp the awesomeness that is la mulana :/ but reallly ... he abandoned it ? hahah .. i bet he got lost in the first section.

la mulana really is more a patrick game , need him back to show us games with a lil bit of thinking required

Yeah man, they should really spend time covering a six-month old game that's dogshit and no one bought or is curious about in the first place, especially when they already know it's dogshit because Alex reviewed it when it came out.

That doesn't mean it's dogshit, Alex just doesn't like the game. Ryan mentoned that as he talked about review scores during that Nolan North interview.

It could be GOTY material.

Just Cause 2 Multiplayer TNT sounds like one of the greatest things ever. I just wish I had a good enough PC :(

@Brad I believe I have suggested before that recruiting Kevin VanOrd would be a good idea for the Kingdom Hearts quicklook. I don't know if that would be possible in practice, but it's an idea.

A GOTY is slipping literally between our fingers from week to week. Soon the new consoles will come out without backwards compatibility and how will we play the gem that is Neverdead then!

I am a horrible person for not even noticing Sara in the video until I saw it in the comments.

I just bought NeverDead for $13 the other day!

I'm keeping my virgin eyes pure until the NeverDead quicklook happens. All I know about that game is that you never die with a splash of limb reconstruction.

Also, i miss Patrick. Need some tricky up in dis.

I know, but it's only open on weekends, therefore, unlikely to be open for TNT on Thursday.

See, the game isn't all bad. Personally I have less and less interest in the story and characters, what keeps me getting excited about Kingdom Hearts is how they change up the gameplay, which I think has never been better.

I agree. I'm not dying to play them but I will when they're made. Returned my XL today. Loose hinge. Tried another one at the store. Exactly the same hinge on that one. I'm back to my original 3DS and I'm not quite sure what to do. It was just annoying. I fixed it by using layers of tape on the back of the hinge so that when it snapped into position it stayed completely still. Then I realized I shouldn't have to do that when I paid 200 euros for it. I got excellent service too, the chain I usually shop at has a 30 day return policy, no questions asked. (If you for whatever reason aren't happy with your product). I'm constantly on neogaf checking the 3DS thread, I'm very curious on what people will write once it launches in the US. Anyone else?

I like Drew checking something off on his notepad after the NeverDead discussion. He's so diligent.

I love how unapologetic the Giant Bomb guys are about disliking Japanese franchises like Kingdom Hearts that most gaming sites typically try to drum up reverence about. Just shows how awesome they are.
