ONE OF THE BEST I love mondays in a long time, maybe Drew's constant writing makes you guys cut the chit chat, but that was excellent.

You guys don't usually do hardware reviews, I assume thats the new Pulse headset from Sony? I enjoy the old one, this new one has vibrating ear cups, I'm eager to hear how that nonsense works out.

Ahhh, it'll be great to relive all the BLLSL glory again! Excellent that you went to the trouble of archiving it all. It'll be worth it!

I really sunk some serious time into FTL already (5 attempts, ~7 hours) and I see where some of the criticism might come from. I think the dividing line will be if you're a content tourist and are purely interested in seeing some of the humorous encounters, fucking around with all the systems a little and move on in which case two attempts seem reasonable. But if you approach the game with a rogue-like sensibility like I lean towards and get hooked on optimizing your ship and progressing further anhd further into perilous space and actually learning to play the game well it's glorious.

From a purist gameplay perspective FTL definitely holds up easily so far even though flavor text and the like repeat quickly. The details of surviving space exploration vary every single time as one adapts to the dangers and learns from a billion stupid mistakes - even on the easier difficulty setting.
