As far as the color of your webcam light that you mention at the 26-minute mark, I see it as a mix of blue and purple.

Im definitely feeling the Giant Bomb drought these past few weeks. Probably as excited for GOTYcasts as I am for Christmas.

As a fellow colorblind person I too know the "what color is this?" game, and it gets pretty annoying. I also agree with you about not caring what color things are.

pretty much my case. they work well as a podcast and video depending on whatever you're doing, so i really enjoy them for that

also just listening to jeff is something special in and of itself

I've seen those 'this is what a color-blind person sees' pictures what strikes me the most about them is just the lack of vibrancy. They are really dull and I find it hard to see how a color-blind person could find beauty in nature when everything is so muted. If these glasses don't work, I hope something else comes along that gets it right.

A quick search reveals he has not. He'll eventually get there I'm sure.

I just think that's so fuckin' cool that you got some glasses that may actually help you to see color. Who knows? Maybe when your eyes adjust to the glasses more and more, you'll see games in a way you've never seen them before. Part of what blew me away about Bulletstorm was how vivid, bright and colorful the color palette was. I always wondered, how would someone like Jeff see that game?

Regardless, I really hope the glasses work out for you, Jeff.

So like, if I took a photo, threw it into Photoshop and then went to Hue/Saturation, selected the Red channel, then just like changed the hue to be more on the greener side, that's basically what Jeff sees?
