Mario Party Party: 5

This was absolutely the best Mario Party Party. So many story lines to follow, and one of the craziest endings to date. This series continues to be one of my personal favourites, their loss is our gain.

Best ending to a Mario Party Party ever.

This was amazing and the atmosphere was great.

I enjoyed Mario Party 1 - 3, but 4 and 5 have been so boring to watch, I dunno why but I just haven't enjoyed the two latest ones like I did 1 - 3. I don't have any nostalgia for the series, I never played them as a kid as I remember thinking they were lame just looking at them in a Mag. It just seems like either the games have become more boring or you guys have had enough...

That said, the ending was epic.

This was so much fun to watch in-person. This was the best Mario Party game I have ever witnessed. Dan is a such a super sport. Thank you Giant Bomb for hosting this event.

This had better storytelling than SummerSlam. Dan shined as a heel this game and Drew was a natural underdog.

Loved this MPP. The audience added a lot in my opinion. But man, those last 2 turns are crazy. And handily demonstrate how nothing matters and that Mario Party is bullshit.

I think the chance games prove that. Jeff could have went from last to first in one mini-game if the chance worked out for him.

This is the best example I've seen of the GB chat actually being there in person. Individuals just yelling out random thoughts(thankfully not really any that were cringe worthy) and massive cheers and boos for Dan. Best MPP to date I'd say, and I wonder if they'll now only do them at the PAXs(I think they should if they go to 3 a year).

Been eagerly waiting for this, especially since it went up earlier and came back down. That was a tease.

One of my favourite pieces of Giant Bomb content ever. It literally couldn't have ended any better. Perfection.

This might've been lightning in a bottle, I'm not sure if I want them to do another live MPP even if this was amazing (and it requires them to rent out a place like this every time). Would rather see them try something else, but I'm not gonna complain if they decide to do MPP6 or 7 at PAX East or something.

The moment when you realize this generation of console games can't do 60 frames yet Mario Party can.

I truly do think that these Mario Party Party's are the best premium content GB produces. Especially in this live setting, this one was hilarious.

This is such a great Mario Party Party I might watch it again.

Dan is so great for this website. They really could not have hired a more perfect person to round out their current team.

Oh Jeff, it's just not happening for you is it? Really impressive to have such a string of bad luck (doubly so if you think of just playing MP as bad luck).

Also the last few turns were just fucking magical.

The live setting was okay, especially after the random screaming from the beginning subsided a bit, and the crew played with the crowd really well. Wouldn't mind another event like this at all.

I was in the crowd for this and it was such a great experience. MPP should replace Acquisitions, Inc. at PAX every year.

The ending to this game is one of the most appropriately "Mario Party" things to happen and the part where it was live made it better.
