I'm not ashamed to admit that I did that "Shepard. That's all for now." sequence at least 5 times when I first met Grunt. 
 
It really makes you wonder if BioWare listens to the Bombcast.

I don't know how everyone lets Wrex die. I played it as both Paragon & Renegade all the way through & I never chose to let Wrex die & it didn't stop me from getting the achievement points.
 
Still waiting for Best Buy to email me my copy of ME2.

I haven't even played the original  Mass Effect yet and I am already obsessed with Wrex! He has the best way of saying Shepard ever!

This game is unhealthily good and the higher difficulty challenging and incredibly punishing.  I now have 3 saves with 34, 21 and 5 hours for normal, hardcore and insanity difficulty on them. And i'm still constantly discovering new unexpected stuff. It's basically impossible to appreciate the immense effort that went into this game with a single 'normal' playthrough just because you miss so much stuff that could happen.

I will definitly try more playthroughs with other classes for more combat variety. On pc you can even replace the loading-screen movies which cuts most loading times by 60%+.

I'm on my insanity playthrough now that I've already beaten it once. The AI does not help at all...

I'm playing through it right now and I'm loving it.

I just got ME1 and I hate it. I can't force my way through it. I'm considering skipping it for this one or maybe I should just avoid the series all together.

what happens if i try to import a save which has not completed mass effect 1? will i be able to choose which choices i would have made? and also can i change my class with a imported character?

"Shepard"  Ha!  Great ending to the video review.  I just started playing last night and it is fabulous.  I actually played again this morning even before my first cup of coffee.  It's that engaging.  I'm only about 4-5 hours in, so I've a lot of game left.  I imported a level 51 Adept and she is kicking ass, although the new controls do take some getting used to.  Additionally, I'm still not sure how med-gel works.  And, on the 360 there is still some texture pop-in, but none as nearly as glaring as in the original.  Overall, it is a very good game so far and I know it will easily replace the original in my favorites list.

Also, resource gathering is my least favourit thing in the game... its like staring at your windows desktop waiting for ticking noises.  Everything else is hawt.

  Even though I knew this game would be great and that I would need to eventually get it, I still had some hesitations.  For whatever stupid reason that was they're completely gone now, thanks for the great review!!!  

"Jeff and gang keep poking fun at "spoilers", but perhaps they overlooked the fact that some reviews (like gametrailers) flat out PLAYED the entire start of the game while they told you the entire beginning of the game. The beginning of the game certainly is not "the whole game" and there are lots of great moments and surprises to be discovered, but up until certain reviews, the whole cinematic opening that was just stunning and fantastic was a complete mystery. It was a really dick move. One that I'm glad GiantBomb has worked hard to avoid - as have some others. "
