Well, you're not wrong.  The overwhelming majority of the QOTW videos are indeed utter trash.  However, the last video this time was actually pretty funny.

I love how people defend there precious QOTW, its quite funny actually. All I'm saying is QOTW sucks and literally everything else on the site is amazing. You don't see people complaining about quicklooks. Why? Because they are entertaining and informative videos. QOTW is just a hand full of community members who have nothing better to do than make crappy videos. And for all those people who say do better or don't watch my answer to you is NO. The GB crew can't make video games does that mean they shouldn't review games? Of course not and the same applies here. My constructive criticism, thats what you defenders wanted right, is remove this feature entirely. It's a waste of space on this fabulous site.

Again: what's the harm? Recording the crew's bit takes thirty seconds, and editing the videos together takes about the same time. It's not taxing on the site at all, and it gives the community a way to get involved other than submitting questions to the Bombast. And even if they do get rid of this feature, it doesn't mean you're going to be faced with a fabulous array of weekend content. Weekends are when the crew spend most of their time writing reviews or articles and playing video games. They can't just pop off another two or three Quick Looks to entertain the masses because they have actual shit to do, and in some cases there's absolutely nothing else to cover. Which would you prefer: a week with hardly any new releases and a QotW to kill a few minutes, or a week with hardly any new releases and a weekend that's completely bone-dry? I understand that you don't like it, but if you're going to complain about the feature at least try to articulate your points more.

An amusing argument, to be sure. "Hey, GB, I don't like X because it never changes, but by virtue of you continuing to put it out, I will still consume it, no matter my prior experiences with X." So, you continually allow your expectations to be dashed? That is the definition of masochism. 
 
The QotW is harmless fun, and as pointed out, your negative comments bring it down for no reason. People enjoy making these videos, or they wouldn't do it. People enjoy watching the videos, or GB wouldn't post them. Your negative attitude is not welcome in any part of that equation. Pretty simple.

@Lemon: I rather do nothing for the site than put out total garbage. I'm working on several pages for Giantbomb but will not submit them until they are the best they can be. You on the other hand turn on your camera and film awkward crap for a couple of minutes.
