They were all great this week, Dirty Dan&Lemon was the best/most disturbing though lol.

A lot more videos than I thought there'd be. Most of them were good too. +1 to all.
 
The ending was funny too. Vinny looked pretty menacing over Dave's shoulder.
 

Was expecting all the submissions to be cool-kid-ironic-style parodies, but.. most of these were really great.
Lemon, you & Dan's randomness didn't used to be that appealing to me, but now that I'm used to it it's become a sort of a fun tradition, heh. The stop-motion was cool.
The Ryan guy was good, reminded me a little of Jon Coulton's style.
But Hamst3r's was the best!

Okay I gotta admit, the folk rendition of the bombcast intro song was pretty cool. Maybe I liked it because it didn't have awful singing in it like all the other songs.

As expected, admirable efforts, but boring nonetheless. This type of music is very limited, as demonstrated by the same 4 chords everyone used. This music is about soul, so it doesn't really translate well to humor, unless of course you're Adam Sandler, Demetri Martin, or Tenacious D. 
 
However, I applaud Ryan from Luchadeer Records, for not only sharing my name, but impressing the hell out of me with his entry. Really, really great songwriting ability, duder, and the singing was easy on the ears too.
 
But this should have been: Giant Bomb as a progressive metal song. \m/

I loved the rap. Lyrics were so true too. I don't know how many times I've tried to explain GB to people and have had them totally not understand.

I liked Hamst3r's song. The rest...not so much and the one before Hamster's video is actually just the melody from Adam Sandler's wedding singer song, just with different words.

Wow, nice job everybody... Don't listen to those guys who say you play badly! They probably wouldn't be able to sing and play at the same time (or even play at all...) but I can barely play the guitar, so I really can't say much on that...
 
I was moved by some of this music because it really felt down-homey and the lyrics were interesting. I knew I recognized the basis of Ryan's song from somewhere... The rap was cool, too. The last two, when they started playin' all seizure-y, I was like WTF? But then again, that's psychadelic music for ya... And I laughed when I realized that guy was trying to Galactic Punt the soda can.
 
VIVA LA GIANT BOMB! Giant Bomb... the FREE! Not constrained by... commercialism... or... something, I dunno. Sounded good at the time. Still, that was some nice stuff, guys. You all deserve props, especially the ones that sang and played at the same time (even more props to those that played the harmonica as well!)
 
Maybe if I was a bit less shy, could play the guitar better (...and if I had a camera, and a good singing voice... and better lighting... and if I were a better songwriter, especially on-the-spot) I might have contributed. Nevertheless, it takes some courage to submit QotW videos, and what can I say? I guess my Courage isn't high enough... heh. Now if you'll excuse me, I guess I'll go back into the shadows of lurkingness that I've been in for the last... year or so. I just recently posted my first comment ever on GB... This is my second.
