Probably gonna give this one a shot, eventually. Seems to have some intriguing systems, and I like what I've seen of the fighting system, even though it could be faster.

This was not even on my radar....it now is. I really like the look of this game.

If they put it on Vita, I'd buy it

I just like it when a game shows up like this out of the blue. Good ole Atlus.

The icon they use for "Press R3" looks dangerously similar to "just press down on the analog stick". The off-center triangle pointing down really doesn't convey that input... I know I made the mistake and it looked like Jeff did too.

Seriously, I would chow down on this if it came to Vita. Seems perfect for it.

Very cool. Never played Zeno Clash, though that does look interesting, never heard of this game before GB and TotalBiscuit covered it and yet I think I'm pretty sold on it already. Art and music seem quite impressive and the enemy soul transformation mechanic should be exactly my kind of hook.

At 10 bucks I think I'll get it right now in fact. Watching the game set of a really weird mixture of associations: I'm seeing some Dust, Trine, obvioulsy Rogue Legacy and maybe even some Souls Series. Really strange but I'm pretty confident I'll like it. Time to find out!

Game is pretty fun bought it and went to play just for a few minutes...hour and a half later.

Got a different take on the Jeff topic than some folks. I think we all miss Ryan, Jeff no less than any of us. Also, imo, Jeff has been on an upswing, if anything, as of late. Particularly post new hires.

If any of you enjoy the art style of the game, you should check out the works of Alphonse Mucha, who was the direct inspiration for a whole lot of the graphic elements in the game.

The left column is EASY mode. Try the right path. Or the "nightmare mode" that was patched in.

@mrklorox: Well, I mean, yeah. The map and menu is kind of easy to grasp. Did...did you have trouble with that? Is that why you feel the need to explain it?

So here's what's happening. You made the assumption that the game was too easy after admitting having only tried twice, and using the easy path both times. And since that comment, they had patched in a Nightmare difficulty.

If you were already aware of these facts before you made your first comment, then you are poor at reasoning. If you weren't, then you're a credit to the community.

The game has a cool look but the gameplay looks a little boring to me for some reason.

Valkyrie Profile + Smash Brothers + Spelunky + Chilean Mythology + Mucha = Game.

If it's as short as I'm hearing then I don't think I can put the cash down for it right now. I will admit, however, that twenty bucks for the game and the soundtrack ($14.99 for the game on Steam/ $4.99 for the soundtrack, also on Steam) does make a damn good case for itself
