Huh. Weird. I just barely watched Alien again this weekend for no particular reason. Weird coincidence.

Metroidvania? My interest level just went from 0 to 10.

I was looking forward to this, but I found it a little too short and generally lacking overall. Not much bonus stuff to look for or even a new game+. A metroidvania in spirit but not really up to the quality that those series have been.

Aliens are pussies in this, what the fuck. Oh well, it's stupid to complain about a Wayforward Metroidvania.

Seems like a really good game! does all the right things. Except the music, it is too "on" at all times, it needs to be more ambient.

Always somewhat annoyed at how the aliens in the aliens games kind of suck.

And I'll say that I don't think this really counts as a metroidvania. Finding a glorified series of keys is not the same as finding new weapons and powerups to open up new areas. A little nitpicky, but lots of games come along claiming the metroidvania title by virtue of having a map and end up missing the mark for a variety of reasons.

Looks good, I think I will get it.

Music stopping when you load a new screen is kinda 1996 at this point, though.

This game seems like a pretty damn awesome use of the Aliens license.

The music is spot on too.

Also it is hilarious that the regular DS is getting better new games than the 3DS.

Just picked this up this morning. I don't even know much about Aliens, but the pedigree and the concept was enough to warrant a purchase

I'm a huge Alien fanboy and love this game. Best Aliens game since Aliens vs Predator 2 on PC.

More WayForward is always a good thing.

We got this game in the UK like two weeks ago, it's a pretty short game and full of nods to fans of the franchise. I'm pretty certain that first queen encounter is designed so that you always lose your first marine there.

Looks pretty rad.

This may be the first DS game I have bought in a long time. Still nice to see that thing has some life in it (I don't have a 3DS).
