Got this the other day and highly enjoyed the first 40 minutes or so of Cthulhu that I played. It's like $2.50 for BOTH games on Steam. Ridiculous.  
 
And I've never been a JRPG guy, FWIW.

I bought both games on Steam for 1,74€ seems like a great deal and the games are definitely worth it

This quick look couldn't come at a better time. I was recently thinking about buying Cthulu Saves the World when browsing through the marketplace, but I was unsure of what to expect.

The fact that these games made more money in a week on Steam than a year on XBLIG is crazy. Why would anyone ever develop anything for XBLIG at this point?

When you can't make a legit game, make a parody and pretend all the ghetto assets and the poor gameplay is part of the joke.

Yeah I bought both games day one on XBLIG. I would download them on steam but I dont play games on my computer 

They were both well worth the 3$. I regret nothing.

Pffft. Both pale, PALE in comparison to 'Tales of Game's Presents Chef Boyardee's Barkley, Shut up and Jam Gaiden: Chapter 1 in the Hoopz Barkley SaGa'.

These games are great and super cheap. A lot of fun.

The music is spectacular! Finally, some actual RPG music.

I'm gonna make this crab nuts.

You can hit tab and on the menu is chat for a bit of more in-game dialogue.

I got to about the 8 minute mark.

Cthulhu is a Great Old One, not a Dark God. Get it right, sheesh.

These games are actually really fun and quite short. I own both on Xbox and highly suggest them.

Own both, Cthulhu is way better, but hey, I played all the way through Breath of Death VII, and it was pretty good. 
But without doubt Cthulhu is worth paying and playing.

I'm suddenly reminded how much I hate 2D RPGS. Being a huge fan of ME and DA and Fallout3 I had nearly convinced myself that I should also like 2D. Well no more! Thanks, Giantbomb.com!

It's actually not possible to buy the games separately. You pay $2.99 and get them both.
