Quick Look: Castlevania Judgment

one of the most awesome things I've watched on the site. need to do more of these XD and WTF DOES THE B BUTTON DO?!

That was the funniest video since the Too human one.

Why didn't they make it a 2D fighter? It could have still had a chance of being decent then. Then again, why am I not asking why did they make a Castlevania fighting game?

Thanks for giving everyone a look at a terrible terrible game that nobody had plans of ever playing.

Ok now the game is not good but you guys should at least have gone through the tutorial before the game has way more depth than just a one attack and a special weapon.

It has pretty much all the depth that a 2D fighter has, it has guard breaks, cancels, juggling, super attacks, hyper attacks etc...

The game is better than what you have showed off it.

Damnit all, what does the B button do?

Why? really why? first off some franchises dont work well in 3d I find, castlevaina is one of them, then they make it a 3d fighter, then they make it sa shitty 3d fighter with stupid circled all around it. the only quality thing about this was the coments being made. This looked like it was planned to the ps2 but they brought it over to the wii.

Who ever thought a CastleVania fighting game would be good... Ugh... Hilarious video guys. Actually made it worth watching the awful gameplay.

Turning 3D fighting games into action adventures is one thing.

Doing it the opposite was is just plain wrong. I really wonder what Konami was smoking when they came up with this game. It's not so much the gameplay as it is the art style (why the hell does Simon remind me of Light from Death Note!?)

Awe this game is so cool i want it! Nope, can't even type that without bursting into laughter! I will definatly be running to the store for that game! for sure! Thanks Jeff and Ryan for showing me the triumphant return of the Castlevania games to the next gen consoles :) lol just kidding.. althought the game was terrible the video was still good showing that you guys are of greater entertainment than the Wii, oh did i say that outloud, my bad, LOL

The Wii fannieboys were right. I am jealous of their high quality third party efforts on the platform regardless of the ratings.

Owls are still a threat

When I first heard there was going to be a Castlevania fighter, I knew it wasn't going to work and the footage here and the stuff I seen before pretty much proves it.  As a fan of the series, this is one game I ain't getting an time soon or ever for that matter. Best part was the commentary of course.

And when did episodes of Time Trotters ever "air"? (I saw the original preview for the first episode with Wu Tang I think back in the Gamespot days but no more than that!?)

It would be pretty cool if they have a quick look of Street Fighter IV, me personally I haven't played street fighter that much but hearing how good Jeff is at fighting games the video would pwn.

What a piece of shit.  I got more entertainment watching this video than I would playing the game.  That dude who makes these games should get that whip he carries around with him used on himself for letting this get get made.

Do yourselves a favor folks, pick up the Castlevania games on your favorite consoles online store, any of them would be better than this trash.

This is an awesome video. That being said I dunno I rather liked this game as a Castlevania fan. It wasn't great, but it was kinda fun.

You also should really not play with the wii-mote. That was just carelessness.

And I get the mockery, but as a Castlevania fan, yeah I actually recognize all of this. Just throwing it out there.

This video makes me hope Giant Bomb makes it's own version of the Broken Pixels series. Or at least does more hands-on videos with crappy games.

His reference to Owls as "Sky Nachos" was a reference to the Colbert Report. He was making fun of PETA, who refer to fish as "Sea Kittens" ... you wouldn't eat a SEA KITTEN, would you?

Wow, that looks horrid!

That game looks pretty horrendous. I wish they would make a castlevania game that is like the ds games for consoles, instead using high res art or make it 3d while keeping the side scrolling aspect. It's a shame that these low quality games are still being made.
On the bright side, that video was nothing short of hilarious! Castle Vania..........Judgement. LOL keep it up guys, absolutely loving these quick looks.

I laughed my ass off, what is with Konami and owls? Also, anybody find it funny that the holy water sub weapon is still as sucky in this game as it was in the 2D games?
