I watched an LP of this and without spoiling anything there's a couple of really great scares near the end, one of which caused me to scream and throw my iPad across the couch. It's pretty neat.

Haha, the feeling of "hey wait a minute, something feels familiar about this" the second before you realize that it's because the game takes place in Sweden is always awesome.

The co-op is not the same, story wise. You play as the cops, not Simon and you go through the locations backwards. And its goldsrc not source.

edit: It also just assumes you know the game from singleplayer and chucks everything at you rather than building you up to the crazier/harder enemies.

I remember playing this kind of forever ago.

Co-op in Cry of Fear is a completely different game, you play as cops there. Singleplayer is still the hooded kid that has self inflicted cuts in his arms.

Seriously, fuck this "new" player. Cant pause for more than 5 mins otherwise it "forgets" where I paused and restarts the video. Always end up watching all non-sub content on youtube cause the stuff on this site is a pain in the ass.

Try using the HTML5 one, it works perfectly for me as opposed to the other ones.

I had the same when I watched a Let's Play of it a year or so ago. Especially with Observatorielunden.

Wait, really? Wow. They actually made a pretty looking Goldsrc game then. I assumed it was a low-budget Source game. But for such an old engine, the game doesn't look that bad.

I can't believe they never noticed that when you reload you lose all the bullets left in that magazine. Which I always thought was stupid because it means apparently your character doesn't have pockets.
