I don't care what you guys say, I LOVE this game and its music. The gameplay is meh, but the music really makes it god damn amazing. It has some pretty funny stuff in it too.

That's why I like PS3's trophies. You only get bronze, silver and gold with platinum being something you only get after completing a game.

I gave this a download, being a PSN+ member I got it for free Kind of glad it was because I would have been pissed had i payed for it, the combat is just so slow moving it's like walking in treacle, and the whole duck to counter stuff is just crap why not just block and counter like any other beat em up, hell this is no sleeping dogs combat , wait now i think about it a double dragon with sleeping dogs martial arts combat would be great.

You obviously aren't familiar with the mental anguish caused by having your gamerscore end with something other than a 0 or a 5. If you knew, you wouldn't need to ask.

Jeff over analyzes everything it's a freaking video game and it looks perfectly competent

Oh there's an amazing callback to that in this game.

I really hope Ryan and Jeff give this game more of a chance. I got a feeling that they were begrudgingly enjoying themselves towards the end of this Quick Look.

A shame they never bothered trying the duck dodge, Gleam, parry system or trying anything else than regular punch and kick to get some combos going. And they never explored any of the other magic abilities either which are fun.

I honestly loved this game. It has great style, amazing music and a pretty impressive system in it for a brawler. And it's a shame that Jeff thinks it is tarnishing the Double Dragon legacy when it actually has a lot of reverence (And some funny irreverence) to the series as a whole. A lot of great little in jokes which you'll only get if you're familiar with the series.

Also Skullmageddon is the best villain of the year. I'm calling it! The voice actor for him is amazing.

I've mentioned it on the board, but I probably wouldn't have given this game a second glance if Matt and Woolie hadn't made this awesome video about it. One gaze at this and I knew I had to get this game.

Not enough people tie bandannas around their legs anymore. We should bring that back.

Dude, Double Dragon has Dragon Kick. Sleeping Dogs has Dragon Kick. Does that mean Wei Shen breaks someone's leg at some point?

I thought it was a pretty funny joke, but it wouldn't be quite as funny if I didn't know there were people like you out there who actually get mad about the last digit in their stupid gamerscore.

Jeff is definitely the kind of gamer that grabs all the items for himself regardless of who needs them.

This game looks awesome!

Edit: Also I laughed at everything this game had to offer in the video.

As a professional air guitarist, it is great to see it included in this game. Which speaking of, actually looks good.

Game is great - solid beat em' up. Not sure what's NOT to like if you love the genre.

I wish there was an open-style game like this with more in depth fighting mechanics. What I really wish is that Bushido Blade would get a sweet reboot.

It seems like the same sort of wacky that they usually enjoy but all of a sudden it's lame. I dunno it seems exactly like Double Dragon except with a Neon vibe to it. Double Dragon wasn't that deep.

Do you think Skullmagedon is suppose to sound like Skeletor?

Do basic combos get more detailed as the character is upgraded? I want to be able to mix up my combos more so that playing doesn't get monotonous as fast as usual.
