I would buy this or Epic Mickey2 if it had Vinny's delightful narration instead of what's there normally.

EDIT: I went 8 whole minutes before I realized this was a regular DS game and nor 3DS, I'm not really sure what that implies but I think it means something.

Jeff & Vinny QL's are the best, much like Jeff's Scrooge impression.

Vinny's Mickey impression is pretty epic.

Vinny has been leaning on the "Buffalo Bill" allot lately. I guess that is what he is referencing.

Anyone else find the demo they have on the eShop absolutely soul-crushing? I was so looking forward to this and it seems like it's nothing but reading endless, flavorless dialogue and overused painting mechanics that kill the pacing. It doesn't feel like an Illusion game at all. :(

That rescuing of the other characters reminds me a lot of Astro Boy: Omega Factor for GBA. Anyone remember that game? It ruled. Made by Treasure, I think.

That game made me buy the GBA player for my Gamecube so I could play it on the big screen. Great game!

Is it weird that I had ER flashbacks during the exposition part where they voiced the characters?

dang castle of illusion was so good

Before they got into the game I jokingly thought to myself "this had better have the castle theme from Castle of Illusion"

Then the forest level theme kicked in and the sound effects were the same and the enemies were the same and now i need a 3ds because the nostalgia is too much someone help me

Edit: Having said that the ridiculous amount of dialogue and the iffy paint mechanics are offputting

Jeff hasn't seen fucking anything... Also makes a point to make it apparent he hasn't seen it, like some kind of point of pride. Because... y'know, it's not like a total buzzkill when people do that all the time.

Looks sweet. You sold me. I liked Dreamrift's other games that used both screens. The 2D art is beautiful in this.

Talk about JOYLESS game design. Cut out all the paint mechanics and it would still just be a boring, shitty platformer. Gotta wonder what happened in development because they clearly lost their way.

This reminded me a looot of Henry Hatsworth. Especially when they got to the upgrade menu, they're listed in almost the exact way.

Yeah this game's story is a really bizarre mishmash of KH, Epic Mickey, and the old side scrolling games.
