Great to see some solid support for the Leap. Nothing more solid than a game from Doublefine. More of this kind of stuff is always awesome.

Visuals reminds me of the dub step game from Happy Action Theater.

Wonder if they used some of the same tech or whatnot

The Wii failed, The Move failed, The Kinect failed.

Will The Leap be the first motion-controlled gaming device with "Can this thing detect my cock" technology?

I think so.

Holding your hands in front of you like that seems like it would get really tiring after a while.

Played this at PAX East a month or so ago. It was a cool thing to play around with but I found it extremely weird to have my hands positioned over such a tiny thing and I felt like it was easy to move off of it while playing the game. Especially when the game has you do those crazy spin moves. Though I bet if I used it more everyday I would get a lot better at it like the devs in this video.

Or, in The Move's case, put a shiny red ball on the tip and shine a flashlight on it.

Not feeling the game. It just doesn't seem to be mechanically interesting or especially challenging.

There's already a penis-motion-controller if you're into that.

The leap motion controller looks awesome, a bit expensive though, especially with shipping to Sweden :P I wonder what kind of stuff you'll be able to do with it, I hope they can convince me to buy one with some more apps ^_^

This game looks amazing but I can't justify $111 on one thing T_T

I wonder if the leap motion people put some funding into this and locked it into an exclusive. I could see this working on a touch screens and Double Fine has already worked with mobile on two projects. 3 if you count The Cave on Ouya even though it may not be touch controlled.

edit: Oh, and that Psychonauts Vault Viewer is another. Does that count?

It looks neat..but if i wanted to spend a prohibitive amount of money on something that involves me waving my arms at something i'd spend 100 dollars on a Theremin kit.

Losing myself in the visualizer just watching this video. Really want to get my hands on this, but it seems impractical at the moment. Maybe one day... The world definitely needs more psychedelic music games.

Cool. I was wondering what this thing was and I'm glad a saw this demo of it. Seeing pictures of people double pointing at a screen wasn't really telling me anything.

The tech seems cool and like it has good fidelity. The game doesn't look all that interesting or fun to me though. Seems like it would wear your hands and fingers out pretty quickly too. Cool to see DF try something new but this seems to have nothing of the humor or quirkiness that their other stuff has.

Raise your hands if the video compression made the game so hard to follow you had to exit full screen before you puked.

Not that that's a bad thing, but yeah, it happened to me.

This also looks really tiring to play and a better fit for a tablet. Hovering your hands like that for a long time seems... weird. Even with the Move, the bigger motions might work better.

While the tech is impressive to witness, the execution looks a bit dull and uninteresting to me. I would be interested to try it, but I highly doubt I would drop money on this.

Still, that detection is pretty incredible.

The music sounds awesome. As for the game, it seems like something that could be played on a touch device much more comfortably. I like that concept of the input device, but I don't see how a game like this will justify paying for the said device.

Hey! I saw that audio guy this morning in the Broken Age backer video!

Anyway, the game seems like a super cool thing that'll wear my arms out after 5 minutes, but I guess there's few ways around that for hands-free motion control.

I'm extremely wary of motion control doodads after the past few years of technology that failed to live up to the promise, but the game looks very neat.
