Quick Look: EX: GoldenEye 007 Multiplayer

Oh man the hat is hilarious.

You know... this doesn't look terrible.  I won't buy it (well, I can't because I don't have a Wii...) but I might encourage a friend of mine to get it so we actually have a fun Wii game to play over at his place.

Thats not facility!

Instead of a damage modifier when in head shot mode, the heads should grow larger when you kill someone and smaller when you die.

As everyone but Jeff shrieks for excitement for Facility, makes you wonder how hard one man can pout.

I've seen a lot of gameplay footage of the multiplayer, and next to nothing of the single player. That's a big concern of mine. The multiplayer looks fun, but the single player...who knows? Facility in the film starts with Bond in the toilets, then he makes his way down the stairs into a corridor-like area, pretty much how Rare portrayed it, so why isn't that section in this multiplayer map? It's not like Rare have the rights to the Goldeneye film set design. If that bit never happened in the film I'd understand, but Eurocom's gotta be kidding if they call a multiplayer map Facility and there's no toilets. Let's just hope they sealed that bit off for this showing.... hmm.

Something has always bugged me about the way Ryan laughs. I believe I have finally nailed it.

This video did its job, to make the game look super fun :3 I am now sure I wanna buy it. Also, lol'ed very much so with the incident at 15:17, quite funny :>

The part where Brad killed Jeff with the hat, then again almost instantly with the golden gun was great.

That was a great quick look.

Fascinating to see the different FPS play styles show up in 4 player local. 
 
Jeff:  Sniper
Ryan: Grenade spamming
Vinny: Close in, melee heavy attacker
Brad: Tactical

This looks exactly as I would assume Goldeneye N64 would look if I started it today.

If it wasn't on just the Wii I'd totally pick it up.

Is it just me or does this seem like a weak graphic version of Call of duty?

I guess if you only had a Wii, this would be interesting, other than that, no thank you sir and good day.

I loved N64 Golden Eye - it sold me the system, and I hardly bought any more games for it.  We used to link in two televisions, facing away from each other = and tape card over half of each screen, then play in teams of two... It will be awsome if it's multiplayer online though!

If you are looking for a bit of GoldenEye fun right now, I recommend GoldenEye: Source. It's a Half-Life 2 mod and is very well done.

Doesn't seem to play that badly, but doesn't look good.  
 
Still, might have to give it a go if I can.

Awesome Quick Look- it's always fun when the whole GB crew is on. The game, well, it uh certainly looks like an N64 game. 

This Quick Look has convinced me to buy this game day one.

If this were on XBLA for like $15 I would almost maybe consider it.

I like the "No standing still" mod. That prevents camping.... :)

Not being able to stand still makes this game even more screwed up in a great way.

I am seriously considering this game, but for $50 or $70 (with the golden classic controller), I am not sure if I am down where I could put that money towards Gran Turismo 5, Fable III, Kirby's Epic Yarn, God of War: Ghosts of Sparta, Dead Space 2...

That doesn't look like ED to me.

Not to hate, but dude the Wii is capable of some shitty-ass graphics.

When they developed this they had a choice, remake a game that was well past its time or make a modern shooter that didn't wholly resemble Goldeneye, I'm glad they did the latter.
