There's a baby in my QL. Lol. I've never played Infinity Blade. Maaaaaaybe I should. The only iPad game I've ever played is Swords and Sworcery.

Haven't played this in a while. The new mode looks sort of cool, but what I really want is some new single-player content.

This seems mad imbalanced. Hard swings doesn't cover it. In MK, to go from like 5% health vs 30% health to 5% health vs 0% health, you have to pull off a pretty serious combo. Here, it seems like one lucky hit is enough to do that. It's hard to tell because that guy is clearly actually familiar with the game, vs Will having very little information.

I've heard a lot of talk about Infinity Blade, but this is the first time I've seen it in action and I have to say that I'm not impressed. It looks very dull and slow and doesn't seem like it would be all that much fun to play.

I can understand why this video is on Giant Bomb even though it's an iOS game, since this is a game by Chair. However, this just leaves me wanting for them to be making another Shadow Complex instead. I got over the magic of touch screen games after numerous hours of Angry Birds.

Is this game just as playable on the iPhone compared to the iPad?

They do one freaking quick look and you people act like this is what they are going to dedicate their coverage to now. Stop being stupid. Infinity Blade is a Punch-Out RPG, so I think it fits quite well with this website, which apparently has some sort of "cool club" that iPad games can't be apart of.

Damn, I don't think I'm cool enough yet to join the iOS hater club.

a) It's Chair, they've made amazing games in the past and their work warrants a Quick Look regardless of platform.

b) The guy who is showing off the game has been to the office before and is likely a friend of the staff.  It is invaluable that they keep friendly relationships with developers to ensure that they can get the coverage that they couldn't otherwise buy (as a larger site might be able to).

c) It's a Quick Look EX.  What this tells me is that they were only able to capture the footage because Chair brought the proper equipment with them (i.e.: don't expect to see too many iPad Quick Looks).

d) Don't be a dick.  Just because you're not used to something doesn't make it bad.  Like it or not games are becoming more mainstream and the guys will have to give the occasional look at these games if they wish to be a relevant video game website.

I liked how that guy was really excited playing his own game. Also, that baby was pretty cute.

this looks good for an iphone game, but there are so many great games to play on other platforms right now.
iPhone games are still crap in comparison.
