It looks a bit boring to watch, but it does get pretty intensive if you play it. Like watching ppl play a board game vs playing it.

And it's fucking $3 right now. I see no reason for people not to at least check it out.

@RuneseekerMireille: its easier to play on the iphone. to dodge left and right you have to hit the left and right dodges that are on opposite sides of the screen. Things i have issues with cuz my hands aren't big enough

and everyone complaining about iphone coverage, there was EXTENSIVE coverage of game dev story.

chair makes console games. they came by to show off a game. which means they will probably come back to show a non-iphone game.

stop your whining.

Seems like the iOS stuff is getting closer to being somewhat competent as good games...but I still have to say I'd rather pay $20-60 for an amazing game I really want to play rather than $1-5 on games I will never touch.

I actually tried it before it got multiplayer. Didn't like it.
I'm not saying it's the worst thing, it's one of the better iPhone games for sure, but my point is that iPhone games still can't compare to console/PC games, I'd rather spend my time playing those since I don't have 24 hours to play games everyday

Are you kidding? Just thinking of that battle system as part of an otherwise traditional JRPG gets me salivating. I hadn't seen anything of Infinity Blade before this Quick Look, and while it's definitely had more than a little bit of inspiration from Demon's Souls, even I can see that with some proper musical accompaniment and a few solid (MMO?)RPG systems behind it, that battle system could be part of a truly great game - as anecdotally evident by my grinning like a goon the whole way through the video!

Jeez the music reminds me a lot of the background music in the very first reactor for FF7. 

Also I should buy this for iPhone eventually. Its just hard to buy anything priced over $1 unless its something I know I will play like Ace Attorney for $3? Fuck yeah dood.
