12 minutes in and none of them explained what the fuck you actually do in the game, and what the hell it's about. It's all just been gushing about Microsoft.

Been a bit disappointing because nobody has taken any time to explain to me how the game plays. Why the hell are the undead harvesting rice? I do like the look of the tablet though.

This seems like a good upgrade for (I Guess) pack in game from Solitare. Also how the hell is Minesweeper going to work on the tablet interface. That is a critical element to if I will buy a Windows 8 tablet.

The game is windows 8 exclusive on the PC platform, therefore it is not going to sell well at all on the PC.

Nice to see the guys excited about the game, but yeah, some actual explanation of the game itself might have been good.

There is already a QL explaining all that, Patrick mentioned the 360 QL during this. They don't want to repeat stuff they already did.

I like strategy games and it looks cool. Too bad I don't have an XBOX and I'm not buying a Windows phone or tablet. Also, nice camera skills Ryan!

@MonkfishEsq: I think Windows 8 might fail too. Someone told me they are kind of getting rid of support for DVR functionality and hardware for it, which leads more credence to the rumor that the next XBOX might record live TV and/or be subsidized through cable providers. The next generation is could get very interesting/crazy.

Why should I care about that if I'm not engaged at all about what they're showing because they didn't explain it?

Patrick is the person who looking into a part of the gaming scene that is experiencing high levels of innovation and more personalized stories due to learning to handle a new interface and Apple's low level of interference on the app store.

The art style of this game reminds me of Samurai Jack

The touch looks really responsive.

To be clear I mean in terms of response time.

Having to go through all of the menu crap to pick the fucking game better not be something you need to do if you just want to play actively in one match.

In fact, all of the multiplayer seems FAR from "finished", Mr. Developer Man. No real time multiplayer on PC? Just console? Two out of three of your SKUs don't support what will absolutely be expected as a feature on all of them? How the fuck is that finished? Including PC which is more capable on pretty much every level to do real time multiplayer. I can understand Mobile versions not having it, but emulating it by not pushing you out to a damn menu between turns should be the way around that.

This game looks like it has solid gameplay but no one on the team seems to understand anything beyond that. Too many janky input issues with touch, too many weird missing features, stuff like that. Doesn't come off as polished to death like the guy made it sound, but kind of the opposite. More of a "we barely managed to finish this and oh god please just let us release it already" kind of vibe.

Watch the other EX for this game. I agree it's a bit odd that they aren't focusing more on the game both in the conversation and the footage, at least in that this is supposed to be a quick look, but if you want to know more that's an option.

Soundtrack is sounding like something fierce.
