And with the color coordination needed this game  has added needless complications to the dual joystick shooter genre. 

Once again, another game that should have had Vinny to do all of the voice work.

Christ all mighty. I have been trying to download the demo for this off Steam for two days now, but every time I click the dam "Download Demo" button nothing happens.

That text looks difficult to read. It seems like they should've used more screen real estate with each frame.

Boss fights look just the right amount of rough to be fun in coop, with people yelling at eachother that they need revived and panicking and stuff.
 
Main game seems kinda samey and boring the whole way through though.

IF this game featured commentary by Ryan and Vinny I just might've checked it out.

Tried this game out and it's just so...generic. It doesn't feel like a Ghostbusters game, it just feels like a boring dual-stick shooter.

is this just a top down copy of the last GB game? cause i could of swore i played these exact same levels in that GB game.

I liked it better when it was called Luigi's Mansion.  Looked nicer, too.

I got my hand on the gameplay design doc for this game, it's mind blowingly awesome. Here it is:

Fun fact, -- well fact anyway -- the Sedgewick Hotel sequence from Ghostbusters was filmed at the Millennium Biltmore hotel in downtown Los Angeles. They have these weird stairways that felt like they'd either take me to Gozer or Narnia. 
 
Great rooms and hotel bar, though. It's swanky.

Looks fun when u have a full 4 going, playing solo seems lame, but that is true for most MP focused games

I was pretty down on this until B-Gon. Still not going to buy it, though. Looks meh.

The difficulty is like a god damn rollercoaster. Most of the time you'll be going along smoothly, then suddenly there's a part where ghosts fill 80% of the screen with projectiles -- which kill you in two hits -- and all of the team goes down in three seconds. Game over, hope you like restartin'! 
 
And that's where I stopped playing.

I'm a big fan of Ghostbusters and I was quite looking forward to this.. the videos made it look quite fun and I thought it would play like the recent XBLA Tomb Raider game but it's just very boring.  The story is trash, the characters are uninteresting and the gameplay is far too simplistic.  
 
I would have liked to see more puzzle elements, like the original retail game did.  For half the price, I may have bought it just because it's Ghostbusters.  A disappointment for sure.

Instead of buying this, I'll go play through the actual good video game from a couple years ago.  Maybe the multiplayer achievements are patched and working now.

This doesn't look very well designed... The boss battle looked cool, but all the other battles seem to take place in an enclosed room with four walls, and enemies spawning at arbitrary locations within the room for a set number of waves until a door opens. There could be more of it, but I honestly think they should've shown that within the first couple of levels if there was, so I doubt it.
 
A game like this with no open areas to counter tight corridors, enemies that do well in those respective environments, the choice to move between them to counter various enemy types, and no three-dimensionality at all. Even fake depth like having inaccessable rafters or balconies that enemies drop down for does wonders to improve the game's enjoyment. Torchlight, for one, was great about things like that.
 
But none of that, and to top it off, three weapons that look really unsatisfying to use... No thanks.

Anyone reminded of Extreme Ghostbusters when you watched this?

A dual joystick shooter is not what I want from the Ghostbusters.

Wow, this game looks boring and repetitive as shit. Enter room - Close door behind you - kill spawning ghosts - leave room, rinse and repeat.

Stream crossing.  It doesn't look like this form of 'bustin would make me feel good.
