Quick Look: Gran Turismo PSP

Meh, but I have to say it looks awesome (graphically).

Of the 800 cars, I'm quite sure I'm only gonig to drive at least 20 of them.

hm...isn't Brad's voice usually deeper?  Also I don't remember him purposely mispronouncing words as much when I've heard him before.  He didn't die as much as he usually does either.  Call me crazy, but it seems almost like Ryan is playing this.

You kids and your 60 fps.  Wolfenstein 3d ran like a slideshow on my 286, unless I reduced the image to a postage stamp size.

I never thought this was going to see the light of day, having been announced prior to the FIRST PSP's release.

not interested by this game at all to be honest...

It's like a mini, slightly low-poly GT4.  Bummer that there's no career mode, but props to Ryan for driving in bumpercam mode.   
 
Also, no analog throttle and brake for GT is FAIL.

I would say the GT days are over. Looks sooooo boring compared to other driving games. I mean, a driving game without damaged cars? WTF?

this looks kinda bad.  like Jeff says, why would i want to play a water downed console game on my psp? 

The game looks good, but I don't think it's worth a PSP just for this game.

Why does there need to be a picture of a PSP on the screen. I know it's being played on a PSP just have the video there.

I was hyped for this when it was announced but since then its gone downhill. I mean why is there no career mode or anything? The 1up podcast this week said that there is no motivation to keep playing. I think I'll make my one racing game a year Forza 3.

How can you have your own game website and not know how much PSP games cost? Not to mention the countless other times when you didn't know the price of games.

That first race they did, the cercuit is Monaco F1 track...  Can they do that? Remake track and just rename it?

While my recent discovery of Forza 2 has made me into a driving sim fan, I think I'll pass on this.  I love my PSP, but I really hate it when it's used to shove what are essentially console games onto it just because they can.  What's the point of this game?  Who is the intended audience?  
 
I'll wait until GT5 to get into GT.

wow pretty disappointing, hadnt looked anything up on this prior to watching the QL.  Although, I guess I really only want to play a sim racer on a full on console or PC so I was likely gonna pass on this anyway.

This game has been in development for years, hasn't it? And THAT is their feature list? Jesus Christ guys.

Wow, the music in this game is terrible.

No career or tuning in a GT game? That's...strange, and really turns me off of this. I was considering getting a PSP for this, now I'm definitely not going to.

And oh man, I haven't been actively watching the video until now, but MAN the tracks are ugly. Even for a PSP game. I played God of War: CoO so I know what the system is capable of.

this game is ok for racing on the go, but I can see it getting boring after a week or so of just racing 3 other AI cars

I'm dying of boredom inside. OutRun is a far better fit for the PSP, but, unfortunately, when they made that game they didn't ensure a stable framerate.

The 60 fps looks great, wish it was the industry standard.

When the lads started talking about the backrounds, I got a mad sense of deja vu and thought to myself "yeah, it reminds me of a track from a formula 1 game i played over 10 years ago" Then I noticed that it was the track from the monaco gran prix.

That specific track that Ryan raced on is my favourite Formula 1 Grand Prix setting, won't be making a purchase though.

Cant be long now until GT5. Any body got any news?
