I don't get why they don't call it Contra. It has characters from Hard Corps in it, and it plays like Contra.

Have the game on my Xbox Arcade download Queue as of watching this, now I have no doubt I want to give it a try :) Has been a while since a decent old-school 2d SS.

Crazy loading, but more Contra(?) can't be wrong.
EDIT: Maybe not, it could feel their frustration at the end there.

This game is like speaking to me, I need to play this, it is exactly what I'm into.

Most boring game with tons of action ever.

I'm okay with the low-quality-per design death sounds. Some gas masks have microphone-to-speaker systems that sound like that in them.

Ryan and Jeff should have known that this game would be hardcore.  Were they expecting a contra-inspired game that wouldn't slap them silly? :P

Bad check-pointing on a difficult game can completely ruin it.

I think I liked the game more than Ryan and Jeff did, but I wasn't actually playing so maybe that means nothing.

I was excited about this game. Really, awesome action, Contra like feel, cool art and music design from Arc. Sure the controls from the demo felt a lil off but maybe I needed to get use to it. Maybe this was a game for two player co-op, so natrually single player would feel werid.
 
Then I saw those two die by a improper timing of pressing the A button and had to go back two whole boss battles. No. No no no no no no no no! There's just no excuse for that anymore these days.

I was sold on this game up until the very end of this quicklook, when they died because they missed a button prompt, and had to start the whole fight over. That gave me pause. If anyone knows: Is that going to be a trend in the other levels? Because that would be very annoying for me personally. 

This is fun. 1st level is a bit hard. Would love to co-op this with someone. Anyone interested?

I almost purchased this instantly but I'm glad I tried the trial version first. I did NOT like the gameplay in this, I didn't feel in control like I did in Contra, and this game is just fucking annoying to play.

Dr. Robotnik is filing a lawsuit with the guy driving the drill pod. And Bullet Bills everywhere take offense to their portrayal in the Lotus Worm's head. Heh.

AH! UH! OUGH! AHH! Seriously...

I was kinda down to buy this ... it certainly looks nice.  
But no thanks.
