Quick Look: Hell Yeah!

Yup, bought it the second the Quick Look ended.

This game seems really surprisingly well made! Arcade titles are coming back and strong.

I have a ton of respect for people that 1) can somehow think of this amazingly weird, but awesome shit and 2) be able to create it.

I feel like the plot of this game is exactly the same as one of the chapters in the first Disgaea game.

Brad mentions Sonic the hedgehog references and the game being "laugh out loud funny," then immediately after saying that he breezes past a terrible sonic reference about "7 magic emeralds" while talking over it.

Looks like Jazz Jackrabbit on steroids.

It looked great the first time I saw it and it still looks fucking awesome.

This looks great. So going to get this. This looks like it is to Mario and also WarioWare as Darksiders is to Zelda. But, with like... Rat Race silliness?

It looks like it works. In time at steam. Who knows, maybe even Tokyo Jungle it ever makes it there..though I do have a PS3. I just wasn't impressed with Tokyo Jungle at first(unlike Heall Yeah) but maybe it's a bit more than a gimmick game....

This looks so goddamn obnoxious. It's like a "HEY LOOK AT ME I'M SO AWESOME!" pos.

It's a platformer with warioware mini-games, great music and really well made cut scenes. Not nearly as insane as brad seemed to think in the first 30 seconds of this quick look. That said I think I'll pick up that steam preorder now.

game audio is really low on this video. I couldn't hear the loading screen music they were referring to until I turned up the volume. Once they started talking again it was unbearably loud.

@msavo: I saw! With the updates to the PSN Store today, Plus might ACTUALLY be worth the money now. I however don't subscribe to Plus so I payed the full 14.99, which is still cool. A game like this is worth $15. (except for that annoying auto-save glitch I've been getting sometimes)

Cool looking game. Reminds me a little of Jazz Jackrabbit. And that can only be good.

I would get it if it came to PC- just puttin' that out there.

Pretty much yeah. Gamespot also gave Tokyo Jungle 5/10 so fuck them.

It's definitely not easy to find games with this much energy and personality anymore. I will add Hell Yeah to my list.

Although if this game IS French, French humor has been giving Japanese weirdness a run for its money for YEARS.
