Quick Look: Katamari Forever

woo, katamari, this game always looked pretty interesting, but i never played it.

lol poor Brad, I feel he has developed a complex during quick looks.  Why is it always brad that plays the quick looks?

 This game is madness and awesome rolled up into a big ball.

The new art style suit the game so much better. And what´s with the prince? His long arms and weird facial shape kind of freaks me out.

you guys are totally like. meh. been there done that, but the majority of your sites users and the rest of the world, hasn't played this before. 

The new King is called Robo Kosomo, he's taken over in this game because the real King is in a coma. Brad was playing as the new character called Buran rather than the actual Prince.

Just like when I actually play Katamari...one level was great, two induced motion sickness. This looks very pretty, and I would be into it if I had a PS3.

That comment just made my day. You guys are fucking excellent. The game looks interesting and weird, but I'm not used to that crazy Japanese style - so that probably explains a lot...

I don't understand at all what went on in the first level.  Then again, I have never played a Katamari game before.

I liked the fist Katamari, but once they added the new objectives, like make the ball a certain temperature or stuff like make this area green again...that just turned me off.  I might go back and play the first one again.

I bought We <3 Katamari for the PS2, got addicted to it, and sold it when I had my fill.  This Quick Look makes me want to fall off the wagon.

How could you not like We Love Katamari Jeff? The sequels that came out after that were admittedly disappointing, but We Love Katamari was pretty much better in every way over the original. Whenever I feel like playing Katamari that's the game I pop in.
 
Anyway, this game looks pretty good. Even if there's a lot of rehashed levels as long as there's plenty of them it will mean this game will probably replace We Love Katamari as my go to Katamari game.

Oh yeah, this game...cool. I had a demo of one of these on my ps2.

The jumping move IS new to Katamari Forever, and it is only half new levels. This is the first Katamari game since We Love Katamari that I have been excited for and let's hope it isn't a trainwreck like the 360 version.

I love the sense of urgency as Brad nears death, barely surviving and conquering the madness that is Quick Look. It's like watching a B movie action flick on a UHF channel.

According to o--o.jp, only 500-some BOYs helped GIRL grow yesterday.  So that's where we're at on active players of this game.

never played a Katamari so when i buy this one its gonna blow my mind. i'm gonna be all :O

This game is mad Japanese but even that feels like a understatement.

why is brad so negative on this being a milking sequel when he's never played this before? I don't care if its old levels. The game is still frickin awesome
