This is the single greatest game that I've ever seen played ever. I might as well just kill myself right now because no life experience after playing this game will live up to the level of Bancho I just experienced.

Wow.  Crazy game.  I wonder if it can sustain the craziness for the duration of the game though and keep introducing new elements?
 
The beginning, where Jeff grabbed the cop by mistake was a pretty good moment.

You know, I usually have no problem with morally questionable games like GTA, but this is seriously messed up. What's the message here? Beat up dudes to be manly, following some ludicrous code of honor? Come on … The Rockstar games are satire, this is just thug on thug violence.

The basic look of this game reminds me of MegaMan Legends, like with the blocky looking city. Can't remember Megaman being badass enough to shoot lasers from his eyes though.

Somehow between the exaggerated pompadours and laser stare downs I got the impression that this is heavy satire.

The Japanese really seem to like RPGs. It's like all they play.

@atomic_dumpling: this is a very very typical japanese story  line. 
you could easily find 100s of manga and anime based on the principle of fighting high school students struggling  to be number one.  its almost a genre.
 
not that that excuses any moral objections, but s far as i know, which is very little, this has no roots in the reality of the japanese school system. so there is some cause for relaxing and enjoying it as an absurdity.

I think it's pretty clear that this game is intended as humor. The ridiculous over the top nature of it all should make that obvious.
