Been playing through this a little bit today. It's a good game, I haven't had this much fun with a Kirby game since Super Star.

Also holy shit the soundtrack is amazing. I can't wait to get this

That's cool, the rock statue turned into Rick, Coo, and Kine from Kirby Dreamland 2.

Afaik, there is NO Kirby at USJ.

Urgh this game is so much better on the PC. Without 64 players this game is shit. Look at all those low-res Kirbys. CONSOLES SUCK.

Is there a "Smash" ability that gives Kirby his moveset from Brawl? What about a "UFO" ability that takes away all the challenge in the game?

Have always loved the Kirby Starman lollipop song, these games are always so upbeat.

Also, nether universe Kirby sets up the stage for Noir/Steamboat Kirby. That'd be awesome!

I use my DS as my alarm clock... and in this game, picking up stars uses the same noise as the DS alarm. So I can't merely listen to this without getting shivers.

Battlefield 3 aint got shit on Kirby.

Edit: Patrick, if you're reading this, give Kirby Super Star Ultra on the Nintendo DS a shot. It is not only the best traditional Kirby game, but it's also probably the hardest. There's even sort of a "hard mode" that unlocks after you beat all the main content called "Revenge of the King". It's still not very hard, though.

If you REALLY want a genuinely hard Kirby game, check out Kirby and the Amazing Mirror on the GBA. It tries to turn the typical Kirby formula in to something of a Metroid-style adventure game, where you have to find and use specific hats in order to progress through areas. It's actually so hard I gave up trying to beat it.

You guys will still be playing some 4-player on TNT though, right? Pretty please, with sugar on top and a sidedish of marmelade.

Sure, it doesn't seem as chaotic or griefer friendly as NSMBW, but we won't know 'til we try right?

I'm pretty sure the Sleep power refills your health when you use it. And the hamster, fish, bird statue are just characters from past Kirby games. God I feel awkward saying that.

I'm guessing the sleep is the same as it is in Super smash brothers. If you use it directly on top of an enemy it will cause massive damage.

The fish, hamster and owl that Kirby turns into a statue of, are from other Kirby titles set in Dream Land. (Particularly Dream Land 2 and 3) Their names respectively are Kine, Rick and Coo. There was also a slime named Gooey.

Kirby 64 was pretty hard, though that might have had to do with how stiff the controls were in that game.

I forgot how much I like the music in Kirby games... man, it's been awhile.
