Quick Look: Little King's Story

As for the game... that's some Pikmin action with a different skin. That's what I'm seeing.

Pikmin + Harvest Moon, sold.

I'm coming at this from having no past experience with either Pikmin or Harvest Moon, and I enjoyed what I saw. The game does look to have an appeal, and I know that once I began playing the story, I wouldn't lose interest too quickly. It seems to me that this game would grow on a person the more they play it.

I would think that the stars above their heads represent groupings and the glowing sigil under one of them represents the group selected.  It'd make sense considering you'd have tons of other guys to draw from in the future and it'd be hell to accidentally send a farmer instead of a soldier to attack a creature

I been playing this for a couple weeks. I really, really enjoy it so far. Some control issues (why the f can't i just point at where i want dudes to go rather than this weird semi-lockon line bs, it's a WII for chrissakes), but it's really satisfying to smash shit up good with a bunch of bouncing morons in tow. Also, the story is weirdly dark and jingoistic, which i applaud. "Build a church or god wlil punish you! If he doesn't, i will!"

Looks rad, I'll have to check this out.

I would totally buy Little Communist Story, also why is the king supervising all the dirty work? were are his servants that are suppose to be doing it for him.

Or they could have horribly massacred it by adding motion controls like many other games that feel obliged to make their games motion control dominated. "

I got this game on day one, i've been looking forward to it for a long time. It's the only game pulling me away from my ps3, lol.

GamerMatt has not got a fricking clue about this game, this game is only remotely like Pikmin. The gameplay is far more complex later in the game.

Guys, it's not a farming sim. There're no farming mechanics in the entire game. The farmers just dig up treasure.

I find it kind of hilarious that you guys spent 10 minutes looking in the manual trying to learn what the health dots were, while sending your guys to their deaths, and never making the connection. It really wasn't that hard to figure out. :-p

Looks like a fun game. Will make sure to put it in the Gamefly queue.

Bought this for $15 with my $20 credit for pre-ordering Fable 3 on Amazon. Can't wait to play it.
