I have such an issue with Ryan's description; the great thing about Buffy was that it focused on a strong female lead who wasn't 'strong' because she had her baps out. This game, however....nope.

I think they are being way to annoyed by the music too easily. Yes, you going to hear it a lot but you're only going to hear it in a few moments.

Anyway, if you like Suda51 games, this one pretty good as long as you don't take it too seriously.

Finally we have QL again.

Despite a few annoyances, I've really been enjoying the game so far. The sexual content is definitely a little off-putting at times, but the game is fun, and some of the dialogue hilarious. Worth checking out, for sure, especially if you like to improve on high scores.

Also, bosses are amazing.

There's a girl fighting monsters, so yeah, Ryan, this is totally like Buffy. This game is also like Metroid for that matter.

I've been playing it since yesterday. Really fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. Doesn't really seem like the guys are digging it, but it's probably a pretty hit or miss game. If you like Suda I urge you to check it out.

Looks awful. The gameplay looked really stiff and seem to prioritize animation more than it should. You should really be able cut these zombies down quicker than you actually are. It's just so slow and plodding.

Humour is subjective but I found none of this to be funny. This just looks boring. Boring with a nice visual flare. The music is nice, I like some of the visual effects even though the graphics themselves are kinda bland, and I like that most of the blood is streams of love hearts.

The shop music reminded me of Stubbs.

This looks pretty bad.

I was expecting someting as charming as Stubbs the zumbie.

The menu and UI overlays are pretty cool, but the rest just looks bland as fuck.

To be fair he might have been talking about the movie, in which Buffy was a lot more of the cheerleader stereotype, and the feel was a lot more comedic. The show, I agree, was a completely different animal.

Looks so awesome. Suda51 you never fail to disappoint!

Is it using some models from Diabolic Pitch?

There is a lot to like about this game. It seems a lot like No More Heroes. Tons of great stuff around a pretty repetitive game.

The combat and animation design is deliberate and well done. It is part of the balance between thee pompoms (which have zero animation priority) and the chainsaw which has a great deal of it. When you use the chainsaw you have to be calculating and deliberate. It is a great system that has plenty of depth and really punishes button mashing as you get further into the game.

Lot of negative comments here, can't say I'd agree. Looks like "no more heroes" with an interesting lead and direction. I'll definitely play through it. I just can't understand how they praise "vanquish" but seem disinterested in this.

Why do they keep letting Suda make all of these bad games?
