Quick Look: Long Night

This is Blair Witch level of quality and its glorious.

This looks like hot garbage...but, somehow, I'm intrigued.

I leave for a week and there is new guys?!!?

Every time the game references the "D4 Club," I can't help thinking about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and the stand D4C- [DIRTY DEEDS DONE DIRT CHEAP].

Jumanji is a okay movie. I have seen far worse movies... far worse.

Haha wow, had a good laugh when the running started.

Wonky horror games are great so I might actually go pick this up at some point. The grammatical and spelling errors are probably unintentional, but they fit perfectly with the 90's horror feel the game is trying to capture.

Okay, you have to love the amazing production values in this.

First Dan dies immediately, and twice at that, since everything moves stupidly fast for no good reason whatsoever. Then the ghost lady vanishes into thin air and shortly thereafter we get a Monica Lewinksy joke.

Also of course there's bad grammar, typos and no VO.

So is all this intentional, was it just really, really low budget or has this game actually been made 15 years ago, but was released just now?

Probably gonna give this a shot anyway, since it does seem like a nice throwback and I like some of the assets and the drawn cutscenes.

If the main character then turns out to be Daredevil in disguise, I'm in.

This is super weird. I was just thinking how cool it'd be to make a throwback to the PS1 era of horror games.

Also, Dan knows the price of the game and says it up front in the video? What is this sorcery?

Listening back, it definitely sounds like Drew to me. Jason piped in earlier in the quick look about the brightness, though. I imagine they're both in the control room for Jason's first couple weeks; that's how it seemed with that Freedom Stream last Thursday.

Accurate! Generally, the "Posted by" name is the person who did all the work recording and editing the video. That's why the Freedom Stream post has two names, because we were both working the boards. For edited pieces that incorporate multiple people's camera work (like some of the E3 videos), it's usually the person who did the editing.

That went bad real fast.

They were being pretty nice to this game. It looks awful.

I love old Survival Horror like SH and RE, but this looks worse than a poor mans SH. This just looks bad.

I'm guessing this has been Dan's Trial by Fire considering he's been in like almost every QL and piece of video content since he's gotten on the site

Just wanted to say he's working out well, I'm really enjoying his addition to the crew. He's done a good job of quickly becoming just "one of the guys" so to speak.


More so on topic good QL looks like a game I never would end up playing but, it was enjoyable to watch
