Looks crazy. I like that. The insane courses look like they'd take a few races before you got them down. Shame they didn't show the train race, I love trains.

I've played MS2 with non-gamers and they hadn't a clue where they were going.  The tracks split in multiple directions and the jungle theme doesn't help with orienting yourself either.

Yeah but uh, Motorstorm is relatively realistic. It takes itself pretty seriously. This game doesn't. It's off the wall bananas and completely insane. It has more in common with Trackmania than it does Motorstorm. What you are saying is like "Super Mario Bros. reminds me of Prince of Persia because both games let you jump over things."

I like that people are defending a soundtrack featuring Slipknot in 2010. I understand why it's in this game, but don't try to pass it off as good music.

Yes. And I think that the fonts and HUDs are just "generic extreme sports visual design".  Most first person shooters have health and ammo readouts located in the same places on the HUD, too.

You gotta learn the tracks. Perhaps more so here than in other racing games because the tracks are so god damn intricate, but I don't see that as being a bad thing. It's different. And it kind of has to be, what with Pure otherwise looking like a plain better game. Crazy is good.

Yeah the music and visual style is self-serious in a mildly offputting way. The game's crazy, the music and visuals should be too. Not this sludgy hard rock mixed with busy grit.

Has everybody played a different version of Motorstorm than me? I really don't remember Motorstorm having jumps that launched you a thousand feet in to the air with tons of air control. Also, doesn't Motorstorm have like, more (and larger) vehicle types than just bikes and quads?
