Wouldn't the word be "captain", to captain a vessel? I usually hear pilot for planes and other airborne vehicles.

They way they handle money in co-op seems pretty poorly thought out.

They're called helmsman. Because they helm the ship.

Captaining a ship does indeed require that you be in a position of authority.

Helming is the correct word for most seaborne vessels, but not every vessel has a helm, so it's a 'squares and rectangles' situation.

Sailing is also accurate, but only so long as your vessel has a sail. Writers do tend to refer to non-sail-based naval travel as sailing, but it's generally for literary or poetical effect.

Piloting is the catch-all term for any vessel whether it be submarine, naval, aerial, or spacefaring.

So we're all correct, and the English language continues to be sloppy. =]

This actually looks pretty fun for a bad game.

Oh man, the sound effect on that pistol is terrible. It sounds like someone using a staple gun.

Deep Silver are terrible.

But still, there doesn't seem to be a direct equivalent for "driving" or "flying" in English, a catch-all term which just means moving on the water. Maybe you can use "boating", but that doesn't seem to hold the same connotations.. I don't think one would would say "This afternoon, I boated some around the lake. Yeh, I boat, what about it?".

This game seems piss poor, but might be excusable if you have a good co-op buddy.

I think I'll grab this on PS3. Just dumb fun.

This game looks cheapo but in the right ways.

Those turrets are setting off alarm bells in my mind, which are Satan in game form (and not the cool Megaten version of that, either).

If you looked up mindless in the dictionary, there would be a picture of this game.

The developer really needs to work on their sound effects. I'm really not sure how it is that games like Halo and RAGE can have such satisfying gun sounds, but other titles have such piddly-sounding weapons. :P

I like how a surprise Flight Club snuck its way in here.
