So, this game has a mode which makes things explicitly more arcadey, bases its 2 of its 3 control schemes on NHL 94, and starts by playing a video that explains how to get into fist fights. Seems like these devs knew exactly what people want from a hockey game.

This is like the reverse of that Hatsune Miku quick look. There should be a note on the box that says WARNING: EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR

They spend more time teaching you how to fight another player than how to play Hockey. I love it!

Hold the phone, I know us Swedes are champions of hockey (wooo) but I had no idea that they had the Swedish Hockey League in NHL games... Like Luleå, Brynäs, Modo etc.

As a person that finds all Sports games boring and at this point borderline incomprehensible, this actually looks pretty fun and easy to get into.

As someone who doesn't know a thing about Hockey, I'm glad I have a reliable sports team to keep me informed!

The amount of teams is staggering and it's been that way for a while. I would imagine that FIFA is the only comparable game in terms of amount of teams and leagues covered

bummer they didn't figure out the fighting, i wanted to see the new stuff there. it's the same as it's always been, both players hit triangle at any time during play to fight.

I couldn't be happier with their choice of teams.

That was actually extremely enjoyable to watch.

Lots of fast smooth flowing end-to-end plays that had me on the edge of my seat at times. Good Stuff.

Compared to the stop-start Madden stuff, this was great. I'd have to agree with Vinny about it being the best Sports-Look this year.

Haven't played a NHL game since '11 (which I played the shit out of), but this might get me back in it. The player movement seems so smooth.

Oh cool! Swedish Hockey League is in there! We bought some players from the NHL so maybe thats why.
