Darn I was looking forward to this game a bit but this just looks over priced and not that interesting wtihout other people.

You know, this actually looks surprisingly good. I still have no interest in playing it ever though, and I do play online shooters a fair bit. Who on earth is this for?

I'm not sure what the discussion is about this ... looks like a perfectly fun game. Maybe a little on the expensive side, but thats about it.

Horde mode just makes me think, “huh, I haven't played Dungeon Defenders in a while.”

Love the colorful style, but there doesn't seem to be much else going for it.

That scene was so weird, considering how smart the show usually is about video-games (That extended Zombie Game conversation with Badger and Skinny Pete was phenomenal).

Wow this was the worst ql I have seen in a long time why dose giantbomb know nothing about this game. Before it was out popcap said they will put MTA in it after launch depending on players stuff. And there are going to give out free map packs, to keep you playing and paying for card packs. Me and my friends are 23 with full time jobs we all bought this for some stupid fun before titanfall comes out.

I wish this game was on the PS4.

Seems to me like EA made this game to appeal to younger kids and their parents in the hopes that (when they're old enough to play military shooters) the kids will look to Battlefield rather than CoD. Not sure calling the game "Garden Warfare" helps that cause very much though.

I think that's a stretch - especially the part about it being a gateway to future Battlefield purchases. I think they made this game because they wanted to monetize the PvZ property at console game prices.

Also, this game isn't any more or less "childish" than PvZ itself. Or Angry Birds. Or Peggle. All cartoony and silly. The gameplay is what matters, and as Brad mentions, the gameplay is actually quite fun. It's a solid, third person, team-based shooter. And sure, the cartoonish veneer might appeal to some kids/parents.

The only blemishes on this game, are that the price is a bit too steep, and the ongoing bullshit connection issues that crop up.

... Holy shit, this game isn't the hot mess everyone thought it would be, and actually looks kind of cute and fun.
