Quick Look: Prototype

Both games are boatloads of fun, but Infamous feels a lot more fleshed out and satisfying to me.

I kinda wish they would have gone with a more stealth oriented game, and the gameplay would revolve around the whole bio-consuming concept, because to me, it is so interesting.

Game looks crazy.

Extremely bland environments. Amoral concept is off putting and over-the-top shock and gore is juvenile.

Soon as my 360 stops being broken I will buy this!

Gameplay definitely looks fun and interesting.

Also, Brad, you should consider playing a game where you can't die.

I just finished playing for like 12 hours straight so yes, yes I like it.

Prototype is pretty fun. Like a lot of open world stuff though, it tends to be a lot more fun just flying around intentionally causing havok. The missions are ok, the graphics are eh, some stuff can be a little frustrating, but rolling around messing up everything in sight is cool. The first time I picked up a fallen lamp post and sprinted through the street clotheslining everyone in my path was hilarious.

oh brad...it wouldnt be a quicklook without you dying :D i need this game so bad, please come monday!

I think I am going to pick up inFamous instead.

 Hulk Ultimate Destruction was the worst thing i ever played in my life, so this game looks like a No-No

Prototype is amazing, also I'm playing on PC, graphics are way better, draw distance and texture quality are noticeable better :)

I don't know.. it seems kinda boring to me. The graphics aren't that great, looks a lot like Spiderman 2 did for the original xbox. I'd rather get a PS3 and inFamous than play this game on my 360.

It is funny that Brad seems to die in every QL but you shouldn't give him shit about it. They aren't making these videos to show off their "mad skillz".

I think Infamous looks a little better, which sucks since I only have a 360.

Brad loves a man in uniform.

Keep in mind he's trying to talk about the show and show off all the different things at the same time.

Just have to use that whip arm to jack helicopters. It's much easier.

I rented this and I have to say - I don't like it at all. In the days of very good looking games with detailed textures, fluid animation, (sometimes) solid framrates and just a general HD polish to them I am surprised that the pop in, screen tearing, slowdown, crazy camera, bland textures and any other visual imperfections are just kinda looked over with this game. Yes I know graphics don't make a game but we have MGS4, Killzone 2, Gears 2, Uncharted etc that all kickass as being games and also at looking awesome. [Prototype] on occasions looks like a game made by the bastard offspring of a PS2 and a Wii.

So, it seems to me that Prototype is more melee focused? Whereas inFamous was mostly ranged combat.

Also, does it seem to anyone else like the blood and gore in Protoype is really phony, and stupid looking? Just doesn't look good to me at all. I actually feel that way about Prototype's graphics overall. Something about it seems really bland. The buildings and people look like cardboard cutouts.

I'll pick up this game when it's $30. Right now I have to find time to finish infamous on evil.

No offense Brad but you are truly not doing this game justice in this quick look.

When I first saw this game I was pretty excited and thought it look interesting but the more and more I saw of it the effect wore off and now am never going to buy it. I think I'll stick with inFAMOUS or even Spiderman 3 lol.

Ultimate Destruction!

I don't get why they made a quick look after the game came out, and after they actually reviewed the game.
But, it was still a great quick look. This game rocks

I jump kick helicopters all the time, that's how much I hate helicopters.

I only know Radical entertainment as the creators of the super smooth Jackie Chan Stuntmaster game for the PSone (the the funky way JC says "Radical entertainment" in the intro is still stuck in my head :P ) The game looks very nice. But didnt look graphically impressive.

Also.. VERY irritating it looked, seeing how often you were getting killed. I dont know whats with all these new open world games and bazillions of enemies shooting with ittybitty small guns from all over the place.

I love the flying method though! Reminds me of Kingdom Heart's Peter Pan levels :P

Parts of this game make me think of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows.

anyone mention you can see through the cars and whatnot when you are throwing them, I apologize. That really didn`t appeal. i like this game but...some other buys in mind. And games I could go back to.

I wouldn't get both...imfamous seems better to me.
