I've found a site error: The title says "Quick Look: R.B.I. Baseball 14", but it should actually say "Unfinished: R.B.I. Baseball 14".

I looked up the Wu Tang news (that isn't really "Wu Tang" news), and hoooooooooly shit. That's some crazy shit right there, what the fuck.

That check swing followed by a homerun was pretty amazing.

What is baseball anyway?

All this game needs is the whistle theme from Deadly Premonition playing on a loop over the core gameplay, audio problems solved!

Some uncanny valley shit going on here. I wish they would have actually hired artists (not to mention musicians) because the feel seems like it could get there.

Baseball is a little like DotA to me. So many little rules and strategies that I never quite got a grasp on, despite playing the game for a while.

I was about to say "Hey, I'd buy this as a podcast game", but for twenty bucks? Nooooooo thank you.

There's obviously lots of room for improvement in certain areas, but I'm having tons of fun with this. I think it plays great, albeit more Baseball Stars than RBI (which is fine because Baseball Stars was superior anyway).

I wasn't gonna watch this…but damn son, that thumbnail.

Jeff's rant about ballpark food was great, but if I'm paying $20+ for a single drink and piece of food then I'm going to be pissed if it's a bud light and shitty dog. Charge me $5-10 for that, and I'd be fine, but otherwise I'm all for nice beer and quality food at parks.

Happy that Alexis was here for this, but where was Vinny to complete the Giant Bomb sports team? Anyways, this game looks underwhelming and I felt bad for Jeff and Alexis for being disappointed in this game.

Woah. The sliding batters looks REALLY weird with the supposedly post-PS2-yet-sub-PS3 graphics. Also, what's up with the contrast and textures?

Looks like a little bit of a bummer, but I really want to root for it. This is the style of Baseball game I want.

At least the lack of online play means this game will be equally playable a year from now. In case anyone actually wants to play this a year from now.

Whether he winds up loving it or hating it, @brad HAS to watch Popeye. We expect a report on the Bombcast on Tuesday, Brad. The movie is amazing with musical numbers that break out, Robin Williams weird giant forearms and calves, squinty eye and permanent pipe in his mouth because he's Popeye.

I don't have Jeff's nostalgic bias or any love of RBI, so I say at least this looks like a video game. I really don't like how sports games try to be so simmy these days.

Wowwwww this looks like crap. Are there any competent / fun arcade style baseball games out there? I'm really not into the simulation stuff.

Aside from the look of this game being awful I do enjoy playing it on my iPad. $5 wasn't a bad price, there's no way I'd pay $20 for this on consoles.
