Kinda disappointed they didn't get to the "HONK HONK" part. At least Alex got there. Also Jeff's impression is pretty darn good.

they could have done an amazing job with this but they didn't. The movies have been out for years.

Seeing what they did to the first movie actually made a a little mad. I guess the way to look at it is that the Real Rambo didn't kill any of those cops, Jeff and Vinny just don't got those Green B skills.

Apparently in the books Rambo did kill cops, even slit one's throat with a straight razor. But in the books, he wasn't a hero. It was about how PTSD can turn you into a monster.

Rambo is really incredible, when you think about it. A book about a broken man turned into a cultural icon who shoots M60s at millions of bad guys. What a shitty series.

I remember first seeing this game at the Tokyo Game Show coverage a year ago. I've been wanting to play the arcade game since, and it looks like it was worth the wait.

Edit: This game is years old and isn't worth 40 dollars. Other than that, it looks like Arcade fun with a mouse and keyboard.

I defended this game a while back on here, saying don't trash a game before playing it. Well......

Wait, so the game has Rambo killing hundreds of cops in First Blood, but then doesn't include the 2008 Rambo, known for its over-the-top (get it?) violence.

Speaking of, they should have made an Over the Top game instead, combining Euro Truck Simulator and the arm wrestling mini game from Red Dead Redemption.

Needed more of Jeff's Stallone impression.

I wonder what developing this game was like? I mean, at some point during development, they had to see this game was mediocre at best, right? right?

I dunno, man. As bad and janky as this kind of looks, If this was an actual lightgun game in an actual arcade I'd probably play it - and have fun with it, too.

That's not why I bought Duke Nukem Forever. I bought it because I was in my early 20s and playing the shit out of Duke Nukem 3D when the sequel was announced. I followed its tortured, protracted birth for the entire process. And even though I watched the videos around its ultimate release and knew it looked like completely unfunny garbage, I couldn't not close that chapter on my life.

That said, I waited until it was dirt cheap in a bargain bin. And even then I paid too much.

Ugh.
