Maybe I am misremembering from when I was playing on the PSN version earlier, but the load time on this version seems...really long. I swear it wasn't that long before, unless it's a co-op thing?

it looks ok, the only thing holding it back is the fact that it is a dual joystick shooter, and i dont like dual joystick shooters. other then that it looks ok.

BTW, games always look more fun when you are playing multiplayer.

Awesome looking game and insane with four players. Too bad the achievements are single player, but you can blow through some levels playing multi, build yourself up quick, and then play the missions with an upgraded character. Also, I can imagine Jeff and Vinny playing this together and getting confused as to which car they are.

I was one of the few 100 or so people to preorder this on PSN. Man was I excited to play this. The ONLY reason I preordered was because it's made by Avalanche, who are one of my favorite developers along with Ninja Theory, Techland & Obsidian. Any game that any of these developers releases, I buy to not only support them but because they make what usually turn out to be my favorite games. I played the hell out of Just Cause when it first came out on PC, and loved it even though it got destroyed by critics. Just Cause 2 was my favorite game last year and quite frankly should have been GOTY material to many people but wasn't. The first quicklook of this game made me even more excited. So far, I'm really enjoying it. The graphics are some of the best for a downloadable only title, but it's made by Avalanche, so I'm not surprised. It's really fucking hard on hardcore difficulty, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love the progression and constant amount of things to do. The open worldness makes it feel much less linear than most dual stick shooters. Finally, the controls... oh my god the controls are great. Just doing 180s in the car is effortless and so much fun. It just feels right. Buy this game. Buy it now. Support this amazing game and it's amazing developers. Just think, you could be supporting a future Just Cause. Just think about it....

Even though it's not an exclusive, this looks like this game would have been great for summer of arcade on 360 which was a little lackluster this year. Game looks good & definitely grabbing it when I have some free time from work (once project is out in early Oct) to tackle it.

A modern classic, both the game, and the QL. :P

The more I see it, the more I'm convinced that this is the correct way to do splitscreen.

I find this game incredibly boring. No thanks. It's a bunch of driving towards objectives and then pointing the stick at things you want dead. There's nothing about it that jumps out at me beyond that beyond stupid powers and some ability trees that evidently every game must have nowadays.

Brad nailed it when he said the helicopter is reminiscent of the EA 'Strike' games. I was thinking we could do with remakes of those games, this seems to satiate that desire. Played the demo last night, will probably pick this up.

Weird. Steam has a 4 copies for €25 deal which is essentially half price (for 4 copies). Usually it's buy 3 get 4.

Yep, looks fucking outstanding. Glad to see a more significant chunk of the game and thanks for also trying out 4 player madness because a game like this can only get better with more players and more chaos.

Really been enjoying this game so far. Yes the story is a bit wonky, but the gameplay is uber fun. I started off on the Roxy tip, but am using Gunnar now and he kicks ass... the stationary gun kicks the F outta the heavy baddies like tanks!

This QL sold me on the game. Graphics look incredible, and the gameplay looks solid as hell.
