Aaaaaaaah, that was kinda cruel to watch. Unlocked means that it doesn't limit the frames your graphics card puts out. Your monitor always is limited to 60. And why didn't you put up the resolution? Are you playing it on a TV?

Awesome vid! Makes me want to go and buy a new PC! iMac now slowly starting to fail me on the graphics front.

why does he keep trying to quick turn? whip the fucking mouse around for christ sake!

Just looks like a clunky third person shooter to me; a console game shoehorned onto PC.  Have they totally dropped the puzzle stuff from RE now?

I stopped liking RE5 after 4 made it an "alien" thing.

EDIT: Btw, love the fact you guys bought a PC for PC coverage. There's alot of indie games you guys could probably pick up and test. Plants & Zombies you already reviewed - but there's alot of creativity like that out in the world. PC is still the best platform for that at the moment. Shame we don't get giants like Fat Princess though :(

I played Dead Space all the way through on PC and that worked really well. Resi 5, however, doesn't seem like a game particularly suited to a keyboard & mouse set up. It has so many strange idiosyncracies control-wise that I imagine it would feel sort of crippled on the PC.

They sure pumped this port out quickly.

Um, it sounded weird how they had no idea what most of the options do and kept 60hz refreshing rate. Was it goofing off? Because it really seemed kinda awkward.

Aww yeaa, excellent to see PC stuff on Giant Bomb.

Using the mouse to turn around would be quicker than trying for the quick turn key, like other pc games

Up that resolution! Maybe then you'll see a difference.

Capcom sure knows how to port games to PC .....

I heard that increasing the screen resolution doesn't effect the game quality from degrading which all my games are in 1080p on the PC because I can't do w/out that setting.

I really hate how you would rather joke about how shit your coverage is instead of trying to be more "timely and accurate"

after watching these since the beginning, i have an idea, it would require a lot of work, but it could be done. Have two QL's for each game, one where Brad leads it and one where someone else plays, so as to show how to play the game and how not to play the game.

I might have to upgrade very soon. I'd be lucky to get Bioshock 2 to run on mine, since that's the next new game I plan to buy on the PC.

PC Coverage  sweet!! And damn, that is some rig you got there. Makes me jealous of my crippled, 2004 CPU that can barely load iTunes.

What people who claim that Brad is a bad gamer fail to understand is that the human brain simply wasn't designed for the kind of multitasking involved in talking and playing at the same time. According to neuroscientists, what the brain actually does when you're doing two (or more) things at once is switching very rapidly between the two activities, and thus quite understandably not doing very well at either. None of you have ever seen Brad play when he's not also trying to communicate interesting information to the listeners (remember also that the kind of talking he's involved in here is qualitatively very different from screaming invectives into the headset over an online Halo match, which I guess is the most advanced kind of multitasking we gamers can engage in).
