Quick Look: Serious Sam 3: BFE

I'm sure it's been mentioned by someone else by now.. but it's Before First Encounter. (The First Encounter being the original Serious Sam game).

Also, this is the game Duke Nukem Forever should have been. Classic run and gun first person shootering. Pretty simplistic and not particularly deep, but decently fun with an old school charm.

I think after watching this Quick Look and reading a couple of pages of comments I think it's safe to say that anyone who judges this game based on the video needs to rethink their actions.

Also yes, Alex was pretty bad at this game and no, I don't hate him.

Alex, du you know what the 'A' and 'D' keys do? Maybe you should look into that.

I have no problem with Alex sucking at Serious Sam. But why did he show the worst part of the game, when he has played further in and it gets alot better?

Man, I thought it was just me. Yes. Something about those silver staircases dotted around an otherwise totally featureless environment reminded me of the floating platforms in ROTT.

This has to be one of the most overlooked games this year. The action is intense, and the cutscenes and story don't get in the way of that and the classic Serious Sam one-liners. Probably the best FPS I've played in a long time. It's a shame the game has pretty much been ignored.

Deathmatch is the worst mode, obvisouly its about co-op and Alex uses the weakest weapons =|
