Edit: Fucking finally. Anyway, I've never been particularly big on racing games, and the first Shift was nothing to write home about. Doesn't seem like this one will be either.

Pumping out the Quick Looks this week. I love it!

Was this game directed by Chrisopher Nolan? That score is certainly... dramatic for a driving game.

Looks good enough. I might pick this up to hold over until Dirt 3 comes out. Since I prefer closed circuit racing and am 360-less my options are bit limited.

I already own GT5, but I wouldn't mind at least trying a demo of this game. Looks OK so far.

Jeff clearly doesn't know/remember that tires are always the first thing you should upgrade. Although I wonder if that is as important here as it is in something like Forza.

Who are these people spending real money to progress in the game? Do they really gain more money from that stuff than they lose from people who write off their games because of it?

This game looks fuckin amazing - hope the gameplay backs it up

lots of great quick looks, i love it. also whens this out in europe i seen people playing it but when i went into the store they didnt have it

Doesn't look like they've made any improvements over Shift 1. I won't be making the same mistake I did with the first Shift.

Anyone else immediately think of Project D?

The first Shift I thought was alright but it just didn't feel...exciting as it were. I liked it doing a more realistic take in racers, but it didn't feel interesting. Hopefully Shift 2 fixes some issues.

Really dislike the handling in this game, I hoped it would be better then shift 1 but it's not...

grid 2 has not even been officially announced and shift has a sequel already

Looks like fun. I enjoyed having great speakers and a sub playing the first game and it felt pretty awesome. I loved the sounds of the engine etc.

But what does the Ricker think of it?

The first Shift was supposed to be a sim-type racer, but this seems to be similar to what every NFS game has been before it?

I refuse to buy anything with this stupid of a name.

This is a Quick Look heavy week. 

Perfect timing. I was contemplating picking this up.

Way too much numbers on the screen

I really want Drew to go over and give Jeff the business on cockpit views and how they are not detrimental to your ability to play the game. Just once, just rough his feathers up a bit.

My favourite NFS game is Underground 2. I hated Most Wanted. Never bought a NFS game since...

Watching them fail to drift is just painful.  Reminds me of my painful experience learning to do it on Fujimi Kaido in Forza 3. Talk about an embarrassing montage straight out of Tokyo Drift.

Thiis would have been the perfect chance for a Rick Look.

I wasn't even aware the first one did well enough to warrant a sequel.

I like me some cockpit view Jeff, it's a preference thing.  
 
Thought about getting this, reminds me of GRID in some respects. Still haven't decided if to purchase though.  
 
Though Brands Hatch and Donnington being in the game is a big deal for me. Love those tracks.
