Quick Look: Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

After watching that I can tell this is something I'd have fun with. This wont be the first game a Quick Look has gotten me to purchase.

I'd take this over 5 MW2s; Jeff's predicted reaction: Ehhhh, too slow, I'm not shooting dudes, not doing anything for me

im actually shitting myself just watching, those deliberate fast door opens are great.

Damn I played it for around 6 hours and the beginning was a bit different. The beer cans were just regular cola cans and the diner was open insted of the bar. Also inside the diner was a middle aged old cop lady and she was important later in the plot and I never seen this bartender lady before so I really have no idea how will she figure in the plot of Brad's game. Also destructoid's review has a picture of a young blond cop lady so I guess even the type of character is decided by the actions you do. 
 
Anyway. I really like this turn for the series. I never could play the early ones because of bad combat but this one really hooked me in. Nightmare stuff gets kind of tiring later on but it's still ok.

Truthfully milkmaid TRUTHFULLY.

I gotta say.   It looks like a true survival horror game to me. 
 
Sort of like Clock Tower where you must escape rather then blow them away with your shotgun or whatever.  I kind of dig it.  Plus the shrink parts are pretty cool.  And it definitely has the tension.

This may not be the funniest quick look, but it's now one of my favorites.

Oh man, intense quick look. I like how the psychological stuff is really playing into the game according to the comments here. Seems to have a pretty slow pace to it but it's good, a great change from the way the genre has been going.

Oh Brad, I'm so happy you're back.  Kinda weird since I live on the east coast and you were just there, but still... Go Blad!

Lot of cool ideas in the gameplay. Just wish Nintendo didnt totally skimp on the visuals for this gen. Game could benefit so much from better graphics.

Looks amazingly polished for a Wii game with intelligent implementation of the Wiimote.

I'm scared.

I have a theory that the only reason they make these adult specific games on the Wii is to use the controller, maybe once the sony controller comes out we'll see these games come out on a console with an audience for them.

Wow makes me wish I hadn't sold my Wii... almost.

That guy has the most advance cutting edge flashlight ever. This game has some great atmosphere though.

Oh man this is the only game that made me wish I had a Wii.
 
Guess I'll just hold out for the PS2 release.

Out of sync sound really annoys me.

Brad doesn't seem to be a very competent person. He seems kind of "slow" at times, like "yellow shortbus" slow, if anyone understands.
