Perfect Stride looks freakin' awesome. Totally understand Patricks reaction to it. Somehow reminds me of the feeling I had playing Ballistics back in the day.

Shoot, can't believe I didn't catch that. It looks like XSplit doesn't play nicely with, specifically, OpenGL games. Sorry about that.

The last game was really awesome. But sometimes, for me anyway, indie games can just be to indie to enjoy. I guess it's a case of trying to hard?

Perfect Stride seems cool. A simpler version of Q3 trickjumping.

Perfect Stride might be the best showboarding game in ages.

LA Death Disc is fun, but I wish I could be playing the 2-4 player deathmatches with 360 controllers. Anyone know the best all-purpose way or program to set up controller support for some of these?

Perfect Stride looks amazing. It imagines a world where Tony Hawk never did the 900 and became famous and so Perfect Stride is how everyone knows skateboarding games. Also, dat music :D

It is basically a roller-blading game like Jet Set Radio Future crossed with Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, crossed with a bit of pokemon. You area guy with a rollerblading robot suit, delivering Magazines as your new job, and you get various tasks from your boss. You keep track of these tasks on your mobile phone, which also has a pokemon like game build into it, which you can play against the NPCs in the game (and you have to get good at it to complete the real tasks of the game). The 4th task that you get is really the last task of the game, so don't worry about it for a while (it involves the moon).

The interesting thing is, if using an xbox controller, the left stick controls your character while the right stick controls the phone, so you can move and use the phone at the same time. The movement system is really great, and you build up a nice flow of moving around from obstacle to obstacle and it has the same kind of rewind time system if you miss a jump. There is a big city like structure that you have to explore and climb to the top of.

That intro to Perfect Stride was one of the greatest things I've ever seen in a video game.
