@Godzilla_Sushi: Depends where you look. Seen a lot of good feedback about the game. And for playing it myself I can say I really like it at the moment. The game is fun, story is pretty cool for the class.

If you like the genre (MMO) and star wars, I really recommend it. Been a long time I liked a MMO like that.

Despite all the negative shit I hear about the game, they certainly went out of their way to make it look cool.

People are entitled to their opinions, but I really got the wrong impression from Jeffs' criticism on the space stuff. It's better than I have seen in the MMOs I've played (gryphon bombing runs?).

Still, it aint no KOTOR 3. Guess I'll need to stick with Mass Effect for that nowadays.

Looks like and MMO alright.

I did the same thing to those Hutts with my warrior, it was awesome to watch.

You only need to hit Escape before a conversation ends to back out of a bad choice you make (Dark instead of Light etc) Jeff and company. You don't need to abandon the quest at all :D

Last night I had a dream the I bought this game, I don't have time for this!

Well Jeff has a problem with the scripted events that you have to sit and wait on to happen for other people so that the next guy can do it, and so on until it is your turn, he could have mentioned that.

also, a dev not being in charge of the area they have a problem with is no excuse to not give feedback, they can still go back to their studio and let the others guys know about it.

If someone has a problem with a game, and access to a dev, they should let them know. They shouldn't hold back just because they aren't the lead director or some higher up who is in control of everything.

Totally agree with Jeff. The on rail shooting gallery in TOR is just barely competent. A good way to accumulate easy XP. In comparison, Star Trek Online has a much better implementation of space combat.

The story parts look really cool, the actual gameplay... not my cup of tea.

I'm surprised actually by the fact that this QL has intrigued me somewhat. It seems like the storyline stuff does actually add to the experience.

Jeff uses the word magic too much in this Quick Look. I'm probably looking into it too much though.

Seems all right. I'm still bitter about it not being a proper KOTOR3, but this looks reasonably fun, functional, and cool-looking. It also makes me want to play an evil character, which I usually never do in RPGs.

As for the space racism, the Imperials are notoriously xenophobic, so maybe that's why that stuff is in there?

Anyway, I've been playing this game since a couple of days in early release and I've been loving it. Sure there are some bugs here and there, the UI is clunky as fuck, no LFG Dungeons finder etc..etc...

but the storyline is more than enough to keep me going, I played so much WoW because it was keeping me going on a premise of loot, but this is keeping me going because I actually what to know what's going to happen.

Only problem I see to that is what is going to happen when I reach 50

I'm currently a 40 Marauder

Also, the idea of Jeff of min/max his light/dark points is laughable at best, because the item isn't that better than the regular set or loot you find in dungeons.

Good QL of the game though only thing missing on it is the character creation as I'd have enjoyed seeing the options there before deciding to get this or not.

Looks empty as hell.

I think that it serves basically no purpose to tell a writer for SWTOR that the game has technical and design issues, and keeping good relationships with developers is pretty important for Giant Bomb to be able to do its job.

Being inflammatory in interviews just for some catharsis for the audience isn't good business, and it's also kind of a dick move.

Yup, that's an MMO. However the second I saw that cut-scene it reminded me how much I am looking forward to Mass Effect 3.
